I only hope her suffering was over fast. Hours or days with that dehumanising monster is something I hope she did not experience. I also believe it was in house re finding her. They said in report it was an investigative tip. Which to me means another agency. I could well be wrong of course. So sad for this family but relieved they know where she is.

Kudos for the fast response and work on this case. The real key was the tip on the truck from the neighbor. INMO. And, I still think that this guy might have been on LEO radar for something else.

You never know when you might see something important.

Naomi Irion's body was found in a gravesite off Coal Canyon Road, right by the Lovelock prison, investigators said.

Herat and Otto, not sure if you have already seen this.
There's also mining across the street from the prison.

I'm still not convinced he acted alone.
Does he know that mine? Does he have buddies there?
How much supervision is there at these mining sites?

Yet we are seeing #TrustTheFamily hashtag emerging from the family and Naomi's brother posted this:

The reason we wanted to push the #trustthefamily hashtag is because I called in Naomi as a missing person Sunday 3/13 at approximately 9:30pm. The deputy never came, he only called me at 11:23pm. He filed no missing persons report until 3/14 at around 9pm AFTER I WENT AND FOUND THAT FOOTAGE MYSELF (I wasn’t alone doing that, my gf was with me, and urged me to go). Naomi’s car wasn’t found until 36 hours after I made the initial call, and it was UNDER A HALF A MILE AWAY, IN CLEAR VIEW OF THE INTERSTATE.
I cannot stress enough how important the handling of this case was in the beginning for my sisters life.
If this deputy had followed the lyon county Sherrifs office procedure (as he is sworn to do), a BOLO (be on the look out) and a missing persons report would have been filed as soon as I had called on that Sunday.
But he didn’t. Because he didn’t #trustthefamily

Forgive me everyone. Kind of catching up. From the first video of the abduction in the Walmart parking lot, TD walks in front of a just pulled in parked car w/its headlights still on. And, then he walks to NI's vehicle in the parking lot. Question and apologies because I'm sure this has been discussed a lot. Did the vehicle driver w/the headlights ever get interviewed by the police as to what s/he saw that morning?

BBM. Investigative tip could perhaps mean cell phone or gps data.

Yes, they were identified. It's unknown what they could tell the police.

I wonder if her brother drove past Naomi's vehicle after he watched the Walmart video. Not pointing fingers, just wondering if it was there.
I don't remember if I ever read if the car was put there the same day Naomi disappeared.
And if it was there all the time until it was found.

Thx. Doesn't it seem weird/coincidental almost like a signal that TD waited till that car pulled in and deliberately walked in front of it to be seen?

Was that car/people excluded from being involved?

I don't think the road her car was found on was on his route to Walmart. He would have likely recognized her vehicle.

Or someone saw a car parked off the road.
The emphasis is on "investigative", meaning stemming from the investigation, not coming from a person (JMO).

What did he bury her with? He didn't have a shovel with him when she was taken.

This is my question as well: exactly when was NI's car parked at the recovery location? Does the Sherwin-Williams plant have surveillance cameras?

Unless it was a pre made or natural opening? That ground looks hard and rocky.

I thought they got a tip. And maybe they found a grave after they followed up on a tip.
But you're right. We don't know.

Will the AA be released at the April 5th hearing? Does anyone here have experience with Nevada trials? Will the court likely issue a gag order, will the hearings continue to be viewable by the public?

Or he hid her and later returned to move and/or bury her.
