That map you are showing is incorrect, otto. The Gold Bar Mine on that map is an abandoned old mine near Death Valley. Gold Bar - Tales from the Desert Gold Bar, Abandoned Mine, Ruins, Exploring

The active Gold Bar Mine that Ledcor is associated with is in Eurka County, Nevada, (central Nevada) about 15 miles north of Highway 50, between Austin and Eurka. It is owned by McEwen Mining, and it appears Ledcor managers their personnel.

It is about a 3 hour, 200 mile drive from TD's residence EAST on Highway 50, about 25 miles east of the tiny town of Austin and then north on Hot Springs Road to the Gold Bar Mine Road to the site.

The only Gold Bar Mine that is, indeed active in Nevada is the one in Eureka County .

This makes a very big difference in determining the routes he would have been traveling on.

Also, he is not currently working in Elko, and nothing current ( as in after his move to Fallon from Elko) references current work east of Elko. That, also, is a much farther drive.

I believe there were prior mentions of him working the Relief Canyon Mine east of Lovelock (Pershing County) and possibly the Isabella Pearl Mine south of Fallon generally near the town of Luning, (Mineral County, Nv). These two mines are also mentioned on the Ledcor website.

The key issue is that living in Fallon is most reasonable for him if he is working in Reno, or in the Gold Bar Mine in Eureka County, or in the Relief Canyon Mine in Pershing County, or the Isabella Pearl Mine in Mineral County. By virtue of using I-80 to get to Reno, Highway 50 east to Eureka, I-80 east to Lovelock, or Highway 95 south to the Luning area, Fallon is the best location for his job.

I don’t believe the underage girl summons is a real thing because I think we would have heard about that by now. Someone involved in the case or knowing about it or newspaper articles. Something, yet we have nothing to verify that.

To be honest, I don’t know why he would have even said that. It’s a very strange thing to say if it isn’t true. How did he know his trainee wouldn’t be sketched out by this? Most people keep “underage girl” crimes very quiet due to being accosted or retaliated against.

It just doesn’t make any sense why he would say that knowing he just kidnapped an 18 year old girl. It could have put him on someone’s radar and he couldn’t afford that.

I said this a while back but I wonder if it was the “confetti” that comes out of a taser when it’s activated? That would imply a crime occurred but also leave lots of hope that she’s alive.

That's an interesting thought about the Taser confetti. I was thinking it'd be more likely to be a stun gun he'd use. I wonder if evidence of a crime could even be something like her drink and snacks spilled or thrown around in the car

OK .....so for people in Reno, Elko is on the other side of the planet, unless you are in the mining industry.

He works for Ledcor. If they want him to work in the mines nearer Reno ( Gold Bar Mine, Relief Canyon Mine, Isabella Pearl Mine) then his work location is Ledcor Reno and he goes into the Reno office for some stuff and to the mines for training and safety inspections, it sounds like. If they want him to work in the much larger and more established mines in the mining regions near Elko, then his location is Ledcor Elko. It kinda doesn't matter in the Ledcor sphere. It's more pertinent as to where he has been most recently living. I would not get hung up on him having a location in Elko or Spring Valley or anything.

It's like someone saying their place of work is Dallas because they work for American Airlines, but really their home is in Denver

I am not against thinking TD did not act alone, as there IS something that LE got evidence wise once the car/driver witness was located. Especially since the arrest occurred just after the witness was tracked down (ie did not come forward before) but this is not the same car. In this article the car they were looking for has a shorter back end, and the rear passenger side window is more pointed. Maybe someone can put the car images side by side. It does look like TD in the creeper video though.

Yes I don't think so either anymore. I found footage of the car in the parking lot when Naomi was taken and it looks different.

But if that's TD in this video harassing a woman, he might have access to this vehicle as well.
I wonder if it actually is him. And who the vehicle belongs to.

The really creepy part is when he looks like he is about to pull in next to the woman taking the video.

This reminds me of something I thought of last night while driving in the dark and parking.

When you are driving, you have two important deterrents at your disposal right away while seated in the driver's seat. ( well, three, really)


1. HORN

2. Hazard lights

3. Accelerator

No guarantee Naomi would have been able to stop him, but putting up any kind of resistance is important and the louder, the splashier, the more attention-grabbing the better.

I saw that too and tried to zoom in, but couldn't enlarge it based on the version of the video FB is showing. Like 3 shiny dots of something moving. She mentioned in her post that LE didn't want the video at the time, but I sure hope they do now as they can certainly zoom and enhance and get a better image.
