OJ goes about in a permanently baffled state. How else can you explain searching golf courses for his ex-wife's murderer?

So Orenthal is free for now..the "Juice" is probably trying to contact Al Cowlings right now,so they can rent a white Ford Bronco, purchase a gun that OJ can hold to his head and repeat the "slow police chase." The only difference would be this time there would be no police chase, they would be clearing the highways so OJ can skip out of town, and the crowds along the streets would be saying: "Bye bye OJ,don't let the door hit you in the 🤬🤬🤬 on your way out!"

Actually, they'd probably be saying (about the gun to his head) "Do it!"

What ever happend to AL Cowlings does anyone know? He seemed to dissapear after the bronco chase and I have never seen him again. Just curious because he and OJ were supposed to be best friends.

I've always wondered about that myself. I still wonder if he was there that gruesome nite.

Jilly you read my mind! I always thought it very strange that they were best friends for all those years before the murders and right after the bronco chase he totally dissapears. I never saw any pictures or articles saying he visited OJ the year he was in Jail. I paid attention too because I was very interested in the case back then. I never saw him in court to support his best friend or rave about what a great guy OJ is. Just really strange in my opinion.

When in doubt....google!:D I learned something new today. I never knew that Cowlings said that OJ held a gun to his head forcing him to take part in that. Maybe after that Cowlings washed his hands of OJ. He probably knew he'd done it anyways.

Wow thank you Jilly I don't know why I didn't think of that. It sounds like he washed his hands of OJ and he is probably trying to stay as far away from him as possible. OJ is quit a piece of work.

I think it would be harder on OJ if he was left free, but didn't have any money to do anything with. I think that would be more punishing. No friends anymore. No adulation. Just the IRS watching his every move.

Unfortunatly, there will always be people willing to defend and throw money his way.(secretly). He has that personality that people are drawn to him, despite what they know ro be true. I liken it to women who marry serial killers. Some people just are drawn to sociopaths.
I guarentee if he ends up in general population in a prison,he will be king of the castle.

I think the prosecutor would be a fool to take this in front of a jury. quote]

But...but...but...Buzz, I have had visions of Dancing Itos in my head ALL WEEK!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: <---Dancing Buonos

Speaking of Judge Ito,any commentary from him? Everyone else from the murder trial seems to have come out of the woodwork to give their opinion on the latest OJ mess.

This is so true.

hockeymom,

It's funny you should mention Ito just this morning they stopped a man who looked exactly like Ito,and asked him what he thought and he said "He's guilty as sin",I thought it was the real Ito,but the talking heads did remind everyone that it wasn't ... pretty funny.

As far as Al Cowlings go,some posters said he disappeared after the "chase",well not completely,I do rmember seeing footage of Cowling and OJ after the verdict, returning to Rockingham, they were having a big welcome home party for him there with friends and family, when OJ got out of the car Cowlings ran up to him and they were hugging and all teary eyed.

Right you are capps, he did greet OJ when OJ got back to his house. I must have blocked that out of my memory LOL. I just did a google about AC and I also found out that he testified in the civil trial too, another thing I must have blocked out. I couldn't find anything on where he is now though.

One of my friends and I were rehashing the murder today and she has always thought that someone helped OJ that night, probably disposing of evidence. I always thought it was AC. Maybe after the reality set in for him,he just cut all ties? I wonder?

I think at the 10 year mark they did a "where are they now" thing, maybe they will do it again with this trial. There are some key players I would love to know about. OJ's girlfriend at the time,Paula, that woman Faye Resnick,I think her name was,Marcus Allen,Rosa ,the maid(she was a hoot).

I wonder how long Alexander has been his friend and golfing buddy? I found an interesting article yesterday. ;)

"The Mesa man arrested with O.J. Simpson in the robbery in a Las Vegas hotel room is related to "Baseline Killer" suspect Mark Goudeau, who was convicted this month on rape charges.

Walter Alexander, 46, who told friends he is a golfing buddy of Simpson and knows Mike Tyson, is Goudeau's nephew.

Alexander's ex-wife, Deborah Alexander, said from her Los Angeles home that he would never carry a gun and is too honest to go along with what police describe as the robbery of a sports-memorabilia dealer by Simpson and other men.

"It can't be true," Alexander said Monday. "Walter is a good man. First and foremost, he is a dad."

Goudeau was convicted Sept. 7 in the sexual attack of two women. He faces trial on nine counts of murder and 15 additional cases of rape in the serial-killing case.

Deborah Alexander said Goudeau's arrest as a suspect in the "Baseline Killer" shootings sent shockwaves through the Alexander family."

Aha!! I had forgotten all about that! Thankyou!

Maybe because he took the 5th? (When I read your posts, I thought...I don't remember that!). I dug out Petrocelli's book and looked him up. I should really read the book again!

According to Mike Evans (a radio reporter from LA) AC is selling used cars in Fresno, CA. I don't know if he was joking or not, but I heard it on the radio Tuesday morning. If that's true, then he should be able to get another white Ford Bronco for another slow-speed chase....LOL:)

I found out googling Cowlings that with Wikipedia, it gives links for others.

PAULA(apparently) - "As of 2007, Barbieri was married to a Florida Circuit Judge. They have a child. She is active in her Christian endeavors."

I didn't realize - she wrote a book - "In 1997, Barbieri’s book, The Other Woman: My Years With O.J. Simpson: A Story of Love, Trust, and Betrayal was published. Salon gave it the Worst Book of the Year Award."

FAYE RESNICK- Resnick now owns her own interior design business, Faye Resnick Design, and is the godmother to hotel heirs, Paris and Nicky Hilton.

ROSA Returned to E Salvador

MARCUS ALLEN"In August 2005, Allen and CBS Sports parted ways. The network began to diminish Allen's role over the last few years. Allen currently works for the NFL Network and he contributes to the football section of realgm.com."
