IIRC, it was the same house as the realtor was showing (and it was owned by her mother, who like half of Vegas' citizens during the housing bubble, dabbled in real estate). Am I remembering wrongly?

Over on the other end of the 200+ homes Overlook Village subdivision, there's magicians -- and a printing company owned by a resident, but not located there.

I thought the house the realtor was showing was on EL, but it might be me remembering wrong?

The realtor pulled right up in front of it, before Steven turned the corner to walk up EL.

But....like I said, half of Vegas were in the homeselling business back then. I googled, and none show up now in SCA.

Me neither. But the portion of the URL associated with that document that brings any results leads to the IT department of the University of Utah in SLC. I wonder if maybe he was taking an online course. I think there would be some record of that on his laptop if he was.

Yes, the article does say that -- but it conflicts with the actual bank records, which we have been privy to AND which are shown (as KC provided them to us) under "receipts" at the bottom of the timeline page:

Remember, also, that at that time (Jan 20th), it was not known that Steven had attended Temple services at 6:30pm on Dec 9th -- as confirmed by three separate sources.

That makes it impossible to return from Ruby Valley (especially going through Wendover) in the allotted time.

I think it's time to put it to rest, especially since Mrs Koecher confirmed on the "Disappeared" episode that the trip took place on Dec 10th.

The bank records would not tell the true time of purchase, just the day it posted to his a/c and the amount of purchase.

***A side note: Even the next of kin would not be privy to your account records....unless you are the beneficiary...or co-signer. Legally...until legal precedings requiring it would come into play.

I did not see the program, but if she did say the trip took place on only the 10th, then that just raises more red flags to me because that would be the 3rd time it has changed. (8th, 9th & 10th) As stated previously, I find it hard to imagine that after the many times his parents and family talked to members of his ward that the Temple visit wasn't mentioned until a month later. We are talking records of the church being available for that week. Should have been known very early on, imo.

Was the Temple visit and sources also brought up in the episode? It was never mentioned in MSM.. nor the sources? Just a post from FB...which can't be accepted as fact and the other two, IIRC could not be named and was to be taken at face value as fact, just because someone said. I can't verify that.

In the brief description of SK's case on the ID website, it had the wrong data regarding how long it was before the family knew. It had 2 days when it was 4. And I still find it troubling that the original video was not played in the episode, but it's still out there on the web. They normally will have actors to reinact a scene. Why did they when they already had the actual missing person on tape? It's not for privacy, because you mentioned the street signs were shown, so anyone on the net can google map and find exactly where it was.

Shows like that are good for PR and getting the person's name out there, but it doesn't tell half of what we have here and never could.

I think it's great that the show generated new curiosities and minds to make it to WS for their input. I hope they sleuth away our old theories and bring new perspectives...and maybe new theories as well. There have been ideas brought forward in the past that were never sleuthed...by anyone. They were either shut down or ignored...and I'm not talking about the SK and SP connection, but others.

As far as I know, you can post a link to a site with info, but you can't mention the addy or name here, on line. I can post a link to LookUpAnyone or Pipl just can't say who by name. It's up to the person if they open the link or not. Mods, I think that is within the rules, if I read them inappropriately, please let me know.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. My reference to a "dark side" is some folks' insistence that he had one. Even if his family didn't know he may have become interested in games or was changing direction in terms of a career, it doesn't mean he was doing anything he shouldn't have been doing.

But yes, it could have put him in contact with people outside of his known circle.

I always thought it was interesting that a white SUV was sitting in the driveway of the house at the end of the street he had parked opposite of---from google maps or bing. Although we don't know if they still had the auto or not when SK went missing. Also, the timing of SK exiting his car. It was perfect for him sighting the SUV coming down Savannah. imo

As a newbie that hasn't admitably read every thread on this case their are still two things that to me havn't been adequately explained. The first and most important to me is his extensive travels the week before he disappeared. No one had given me an explaination to explain the several hundred miles this person traveled before ultimately disappearing (from Laytonias excellent timeline) and unaccounted hours his final week to my satifaction, too many holes. Also I am still trying to locate more info on the search of the airport area and read part of a thread that this info is suppose to be on got half way through with only a few posts on the search, please help me:banghead: Did get answers to the laptop, thank you as well as running his SSN and credit info.

You should actually watch the show if you're going to comment on it. It didn't really tell us anything new, but I do believe it was factually accurate.

Besides the alleged connection to Susan Powell, which has been discounted by LE on both cases, can you tell us what other theories or ideas have not been sleuthed or have been ignored?

They had it listed on the 21st and the programming must have still been off, because it wasn't on. If I should catch it or someone can post a true time of programming and I can, I will. Hopefully, people that had watch it will answer questions for those who couldn't. TIA

Her hubby had passed and the addy was in the proximity of where we thought SK had occasion to travel. Maybe the newbies who are reading the old threads will come across them and ask about them again. It would be too hard to try and do a search on each thread now. I think the SK & SP theory has been discounted, but I don't LE has ruled it out completely...They wouldn't feel it necessary to say they wouldn't comment on it. They would say it's been ruled out. Just like for those who feel that SK met with foul play....there's no evidence, it's been discounted, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

ETA: Everytime I see Bob, the meteorologist on HLN in the mornings, I think of SK. I hope SK had his humor.

Well, the Disappeared listings were all off when SK's case was shown, but I see they repeat them regularly.

My memory is no good either - but I honestly don't remember anything about the person to which you are referring??? I hope someone will come across it too and maybe re-introduce it!

As far as SP goes, I do believe LE in both cases have publicly stated they have found NO connection, whatsoever. Believe me, I wish it was true because that would mean both of them would, most likely, still be alive and well.
