I called the Henderson Taxi service and asked if they could give information out on weather they picked someone up on a particular date, and they said they were not able to give that information out and that "Metro" (LE) would have to be contacted and the Nevada Taxi Cab Authority. I am sure this angle has been addressed by the family, but if not here is some information?

The lack of fresh facts is just causing us to spin wheels on what we already know. If, and I say if, Steven got into a cab, would that not imply that he had no real business in SAC and it was just s drop off point?

In my view the cab would be an unnecessary added expense which actually creates a paper trail, something Steven and his cohort(s) were trying to avoid. So I put no stock in any theory that he got into a cab.

The problem is, if they only respond to LE, there's not much we can do. LE isn't sharing much with the family (which is true in most cases).

We are all here to help find Steven. That has to be our stated purpose; I know that there are lots of other places to sharpen our debating skills.

We have the benefit of momentum right now-we have a media contact and family as well as locals who are available for perspective. Threads like this die out quickly if they become a morass of bickering or baiting....none of that will help to sleuth out this well loved man.

I appreciate all of the time and attention you are giving to this-but in the end that means nothing to how important it is to keep this going and growing with new ideas and avenues to rule in/out. This man is missing and his family is desperate....JMVHO.

IHOPs are all the same.
If you're there because you can sit for awhile and drink lots of cheap iced tea, you could have spent time on the bus, stopping at several of them.

Just an idea....but the "bus" person said the person they saw had a portfolio. It might be a total BS sighting....I dunno. But apparently, the person who's drinking all the iced tea is fairly memorable, so if he's visiting others, they might remember him, too. If he was truly asked to leave and not come back, he may be going to another.

Anyway, the family's going to Vegas this weekend, and I just sent Naegle a list of all IHOPs (and their phone numbers) in Vegas.
