NV - Tesla Cybertruck explosion at Trump hotel in Vegas investigated as a possible terrorist act, 1 Jan 2025

We really do not know if there is a second wife. unless someone can repost something factual.'

Do we really know if he has a baby? I think all we have is a picture with no clarification.

He is divorced from a first wife, whose picture was plastered over news sources earlier. Many kept referring to her as his wife now. Not true.
SBM. Second wife.

Livelsberger's wife told investigators her husband had been out of their Colorado Springs, Colorado, residence since around Christmas after a dispute over allegations of infidelity and said he would not hurt anyone, an official who had been briefed on the investigation told ABC News.

That makes things more complicated.

Perhaps he was trying to make a comment about Musk specifically?

Or perhaps he was upset about how Trump defended Musk's statements in favour of the H-1B visas, feeling betrayed.
BBM. In my opinion, this is likely. Livelsberger rented the Cybertruck on December 28th, which is also the day Trump made a statement in support of the visas.

It appears that he might have had personal reasons - his wife mentioned a dispute about the accusations of infidelity.
Yeah, the article says:

Over the past few months, an array of photos Livelsberger posted from Germany, including pictures of himself proposing to his partner, and the ring he gave her, have “disappeared,” his uncle said.

I think the Cybertruck and Trump Hotel were "bright shiny, attention getting objects" in the backdrop of his suicide. I think he was probably pretty depressed and any political alliance was secondary.

He probably had no real personal feelings about Musk and Trump and the drama going on. It was just a bright shiny object to draw attention to his suicide.

He was likely already "zoned out".

It looks like his motive wasn't political:

The 37-year-old Colorado resident was a member of the elite Green Berets and was described by family members as a ‘100 percent patriot’ and ardent Trump supporter.

Mr Livelsberger's father told the BBC's news partner CBS that his son was in Colorado to see his wife and eight-month-old daughter.

He said he last spoke to his son at Christmas and that everything seemed normal.

Why would he buy two guns on Monday to commit suicide on Wednesday? All he needed is one.

Possibly the longer he was away from his family the more depressed and hopeless he got? I'm suspecting after reading the article that the infidelity was on his part. All JMO

Hard to call this one. Its all over the place.

For those unfamiliar with military service. The media's reporting of Active Duty is not straight forward.
Here is the details of the service

Livelsberger enlisted in the Army as a Special Forces candidate and served on active duty from January 2006 to March 2011, then joined the National Guard that month and served until July 2012, followed by a stint in the Army Reserve from July to December 2012, according to the spokesperson. He went back on active duty in December 2012 as a Special Operations soldier, the spokesperson said.

Here is the twist. He may have been eligible for retirement next year. Why would you go in leave to commit suicide? so close to retirement.

The enlistment In and out is an oddity. National Guard and Reserves is different from Active Duty.
They live as civilians part of the time and On duty the other part.

It appears that he lives a tumultuous life. The question is to what degree. The question remains as to
who bought the explosive material and was it an hap hazard attempt to blame Trump.

One fact remains true as this was an irrational move. The answer lies on post in Germany. His
peers will give a first hand assessment to what he was "about".

According to his uncle, he was a Trump supporter, so not directed at Trump.

The FBI, however, has said that the New Orleans attacker acted alone, and with the Cybertuck itself apparently absolved of any malfunction in the Vegas inferno, the community turned to damage control. They quickly accused the press of spreading “FUD,” or “fear, uncertainty, and doubt,” market shorthand for content that is damaging to a brand like Tesla, which counts many customers as avid investors.

“The media will soon jump on this CT story and spread the FUD,” wrotea commenter on the forum Cybertruck Owners Forum. “It never ends.” Since its release in 2023 following years of delays, the angular, stainless steel-paneled truck has been a favorite of Tesla’s most devoted fans but an object of ridicule for other motorists, and plagued by breakdowns, recalls, and glaring design flaws — all of which have made Cybertruck owners a touch defensive when it comes to their futuristic rides

An X commenter named Robby Starbuck suggested Musk, the CEO of Tesla, which manufactures Cybertrucks, sue media outlets that tied the attack to his product, stating headlines are “sabotaging Tesla’s brand by making people think it caught on fire.”

Sounds to me like his choice of the Tesla and Trump hotel was because he loved both and wanted to commit suicide surrounded by the things he loved. Sounds like mental illness and family stress. Very sad.
Apparently he also loved firework displays:

Posts made on Facebook suggest that he was a Trump supporter and a firework enthusiast, having once likened fireworks shows to the “sounds of battle”.

Another possible theory: he committed suicide for personal and mental health reasons, and chose Trump Tower as he hoped it would draw attention to poor mental health care and too-frequent suicides in the military. Maybe the Tesla is just because Musk has been in the news a lot lately and he thought it would be cool to drive.

MOO.

While holding that position, Livelsberger said on his Linkedin that he also worked on a nearly one-year contract with General Dynamics Corp, a firm specializing in aerospace and defense.

He alleges he 'engineered and fielded the first mobile standoff hyperspectral imaging "Lightguard Minotaur" system' during his time at General Dynamics Corp.

General Dynamics told DailyMail.com they have no record of employing Livelsberger.

I kind of wonder if he was subcontracted to do that work. So he was "employed"/paid by a different company but was doing work that, ultimately, was for General Dynamics. That might be why they say he was not their employee.
