LAS VEGAS (Court TV) — Jury selection is underway for a Nevada man facing a retrial for the 2008 shooting deaths of his wife and the hitman he allegedly conspired with to kill her.

An unusual order from the court, we are not allowed to report the makeup of the jury. I suppose this is normal for this judge/court, but I've never experienced that around the country. Openings set for 9am PT/12pm ET.

Nevada man Thomas Randolph was sentenced to death in 2017 for the murders of his sixth wife and the man he allegedly conspired with to kill her. Randolph’s conviction was overturned in 2020 after the Nevada Supreme Court ruled that prior-bad-act evidence used in the trial may have tainted the jury’s objectivity. Four out of six of Randolph’s wives ended up dead.

Court resumes at 10:30am PT/1:30pm ET in #ThomasRandolph. Today we expect to hear from Izzy. Izzy did not testify at the first trial. She was Randolph's girlfriend during his marriage to Sharon. Defense says everyone knew about this arrangement.


Elizabeth Lavadour testified while dating/living together #ThomasRandolph encouraged her to get life insurance which she did. She eventually broke up with him. When he was married to Sharon he would visit her and each time say he was leaving Sharon.
