Randall Dewayne Lee

Last Seen: Tyrone, Oklahoma
Date Last Seen: August 17, 1985
Age Last Seen: 36
Gender: Male
Race: White
Hair: Light Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Height: 72
Weight: 180
Circumstances: None

ETA, I found circumstances in transportation:

Vehicle make: Chevrolet
Vehicle model: Unknown
Year: 1977
Style: Pickup
Vehicle color: Gray and Blue
Tag type Passenger automobile (regular plates)
Tag number: 851-1203
Tag state: Oklahoma
Expiration year: 1986

Vehicle comments: Originally, the vehicle was reported was a blue and primer 1977 Chevy pickup with Oklahoma plates. The Oklahoma Tax Commission only has record of Lee owning the vehicle listed above. Lee's brother also saw him in this vehcile in Perryton, TX, days before his disappearance, enroute to the Texas/Mexico border. Family members have since reported that the vehicle was sold prior to Randall Lee's disappearance. Lee would may have also been driving a copper-colored, 1975-1978 Chevy Scottsdale pickup. Tags and VIN are unkown at this time.

This is weird. I have a strange feeling this is our guy.

ETA again: There's dental and DNA.

And for anyone who is superstitious, this came up in a search I did by putting "eagle" in the circumstances search box. Below are links to the search parameters I used and the results of 7 names. And I can't find anything about eagle in his information. It's like he came up in this search out of nowhere.

.

Randall Lee is a rule out based on dentals.

Also, someone asked about the gender of the anonymous caller.
The caller was male.

On a side note, I've heard dead bodies are considerably more difficult to move than a 'live' one of the same weight. The weight of our John Doe is unknown, but as he is in the 6-6'3" range, I'd be surprised if he was moved after death by just one person.
Regarding the bolded, I carried my 85 lb Labrador up the stairs to our bedroom the last two years of his life. He got around good, just had trouble with stairs, and he hated sleeping alone downstairs. The night before we had him PTS, he became paralyzed from the neck down while we were out in the yard. I picked him up, and I couldn't carry him but a few feet and I had to set him back down again. He wasn't dead, but he was absolute dead weight. It's really weird how that is.

But someone who is really determined could have used a dolly or something to move the body. It would have to be a strong person, at least a man. I can lift over 100 lbs, but I would be hard pressed to budge 160 lbs dead weight. I carried my son a few times when he was over 130 and sleeping. Sleeping weight isn't the same as paralyzed weight but it's pretty close.

ETA: I'm not a big woman either.

Bummer. I was hopeful about him.

I have another weird one with dentals I'm about to post right now.

Could you go into any more detail on the hands and feet being missing? Was it likely from animal activity or was it done deliberately?

Dental and DNA available.

No, they can't. We have to accept the information we have at the moment. It's important to the investigation that they withhold information from the public. They'll share with us when they can.

Unfortunately, we are unable to answer that question either way at this time.

I know the drill. ;) Never hurts to ask when the information is partially out there.

It's crazy how many men between 6 and 6-3 went missing in 85 and 86. Then it slows down for a couple of years, and then it seems it increased again in the mid 90s.

Only one more question! In the t-shirt artwork, could you see legs, talons, or anything to indicate we are looking at the underbelly of the bird? It is difficult to tell from the photo and it has been questioned. We are making progress on the t-shirt, but nothing certain yet.

Detectives,

You mentioned to include people missing after the date the body was found. I've been including them if the circumstances seem suspicious or the family reported years later.

What about the ones where it's not clear if the family reported it right away or years later? For example, I have a guy who traveled to Vegas to go to a strip club 4 years after the body was found. Should I include him? It's not clear one way or another if it's certain that's the date or not.

Lewis Neguelouart's age is wrong on the list. He would have been 54 at the time the body was found, not 61.

Raymond Fernandez has a z at the end of his name instead of an x.

I'm not proofing the list. Just finding these as I'm checking the list when I find someone.

My first impression of it was that we were looking at the underbelly of some kind of bird of prey, but nothing obvious jumped out at me as far as leg/talons. Somebody previously posted that you can't "unsee" something once you get an image in your head. That's very true.

If necessary, I'll see if we can get a better photo of that shirt after it comes back from the lab (could take several months). I'll pin in down to cardboard or something to keep our fingers out of the picture and to get it perfectly flat.

Thanks again everyone! It would take my partner and I months, if not years, to do this amount of searching if we had to do it alone.
