^^^Excellent video, HayLouise, thanks! It pretty much parallels what I found and I like the way the poster relied on and analyzed LE statements, NMEC and quotes from the grandmother.

I'd like to know: how long Beasley supposedly had Zaela before the mother told grandmother that he had her and took her to CA to visit relatives (a lie); was the relationship between the parents friendly at that time and why there was a 7-day gap before mom took off.

IMO if we knew the answers to those questions the timeline would get much clearer. In the meantime though it looks like the focus is on Las Vegas and Texas. That's a 3-month piece of time. Mexico is a wild card at the moment.

I believe Zaela disappeared at the start, meaning early to mid-August. Whether or not she disappeared while in the custody of both parents remains to be seen. All MOO.

ETA New info, more at the link:
Zaela’s family members say Beasely was supposed to be in court for a grand jury hearing on Tuesday to start the process of indicting him on murder charges but the hearing was canceled because his lawyer quit.

Beasley's arrest report says Zaela went to visit Beasley on Aug. 15. Over the next week, Beasley reportedly refused to give Zaela back. The report goes on to say Beasley was not listed on Zaela’s birth certificate -- “nor has he ever been granted any type of parental/custody rights.”

On Aug. 22, Zaela’s mother, Lakeia Walker, met Beasley at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. That’s when Beasley told Walker their daughter was in California with family members. Arrest papers say the two then took off to California, leaving Walker's phone and car at the park.

I think she disappeared in early to mid August too. I think that Mom's FB holds a clue. In June and July she was posting memes critical of 'dead beat dads.'

I am guessing that Grandmother urged her daughter to file for child support, since Grandmother was supporting her daughter and granddaughter at the time.

I think Beasley got wind of that and came and pretended to step up as a father. He tells her..' "Let me take the baby to see her grandparents in Cali' and I bet they will give us some $$$.

So he dumps poor Zaela off somewhere, probably sells her, then comes back and tells his Baby mama that his family has the baby and it's all good---they can go on a honeymoon now---in his Moms car that he stole from her....

I don't think Zaela's Mom took part in the actual 'selling' of the child. I think she just believed the BS he told her because she wanted to be with him...

her body is in one of those states. gma started asking too many questions so they took a "road trip" to dump her.

This. I imagine it this way too. They got out of dodge to buy time. Just like Casey moved in with her random BF and continually fed her parents bs about traveling and the nanny. Poor sweet baby.

The Father looks like a real winner. There is a heck of a lot of empty space in the Nevada desert.

In addition to her father’s court appearance, Zaela Walker was the subject of a news conference by police spokesman Aaron Patty.

He said the agency has not given up on the possibility of finding the toddler alive.

“You go through all the evidence that’s been presented, all the interviews that have been done, you still hold onto that hope that one day we will see her,” he said.

Following her father’s arrest, Patty said he has clammed up during interviews with investigators.

“All we can hope is that, you know, having been a part of Zaela’s life he feels like this is something important,” the police source said. “If he knows something, he should do the right thing and say something.”

Grandma answered a lot of questions here:

Zaela is not getting enough attention. I reached out to some reporters who responded that they will do follow up stories as well as Nancy Grace fb (desperate times......)

I totally agree. She is not getting nearly enough attention. People should be outraged and vocal about this. It tears me up to see her adorable innocent face.

Well, never say never but after 144 days and no word on Zaela's whereabouts from any family member IMO the odds are very slim that she's still alive.

Certainly if dad knew she was alive somewhere he'd tell LE rather than risk a murder charge down the road. OTOH, I suppose he could be hoping her body isn't found but even then he's risking a no-body case. Why else would he "clam up" and not cooperate with LE to find her and bring her home?

There's no evidence that Zaela's hidden with a friend or relative and it's unlikely that anyone would traffic a 2-year-old who's been reported as missing. The only thing that makes sense is that someone harmed/murdered her. MOO.

Here is the one glimmer of hope that I glom on to.

What if the 🤬🤬🤬 bio-dad wants to get rid of her because she is too much of a burden? Maybe he sells her on the black market for illegal adoptions. Or gives her to a childless couple, sworn to secrecy because it is totally illegal.

Then he just starts lying to everyone and runs off on that road trip with the baby's mom and the stolen car. He quiets the baby mama by pretending to be back with her, which is what she always wanted.

I think he may be clamming up for now because they have no proof the baby is dead. No crime scene, no witnesses, no body.

So they can only charge him with lesser charges for now. And if they don't bring major charges against him, he is home free. If he admitted to them now that he sold his child, that would be a major crime and he would be in big trouble. So I think he is just shutting down and hoping they find no evidence to nail him.
