NY - 7-year old girl plunges from window to escape abuse

This is the first thread I have started since I've been a member. Hopefully, i didnt duplicate one already. I did check but could not find one on this poor child! This absolutely breaks my heart!

I hope they get to the bottom of this and press charges. Obviously someone is very guilty of some very bad stuff! Poor girl, i hope she recovers.

I can't believe she survived a 7 story fall (or jump). How desperate must that baby have been I'm worried for her, I hope she has responsible, loving family somewhere. It's stories like these that make me want to foster. Children should not have to suffer like this.

Thank you for letting me know about the link! Here is another one that staes an arrest has been made, apparently the 19yr old stepmother. but I dont feel she was the only abuser! Where is the father? Its terrible
