Hmmm, 01.00hrs is a strange time to check-out of a hotel that's not near an airport.

.....and if she was only from Staten Island, why stay at a hotel in Manhattan? It's not far to go home.

I'm thinking she had arranged to meet someone.....

The hotel at 161 Front St. NY, NY is the Fairfield Inn New York Manhattan/Financial District. I agree that 1am is a very strange time to check out, she’d have undoubtedly paid until 11am.

I'm hoping the Fairfield Inn will have security tape of who goes in and out of her room.

Only speculating here, but another scenario with being close to home I'm wondering if she maybe had an argument with someone at the house and left and checked into the hotel. Then there was a "let's makeup" over the phone and she checked out and headed back home, only to get into another argument and leave again - or have something bad happen?

A couple of years ago I was staying at a Marriott Hotel when there were several false fire alarms. I asked the manager if they could tell from the security cameras who was setting off the alarms, and she said that, by law, they were not allowed to have cameras on the guest room floors because that would be considered an invasion of privacy; that they could only have cameras in the public areas like the lobby, restaurant and parking lot. That was in CA, and maybe the law is different in NY, but IMO chances are that there will be no camera footage of who goes in and out of her room.

Or maybe they just lost the password to the video system or taped over it like some other hotel did recently.... :(

Looked for updates and found none. Is Beverly still missing?
