A woman shot to death Sunday in a Brooklyn murder-suicide was an NYPD school safety officer — and her 12-year-old son was in the next room, police sources said.
Naire McCormick, 44, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head around 11:45 p.m. when cops responded to a 911 call at an apartment at Clermont and Flushing avenues.
Police said McCormick’s boyfriend, Jancy Dempster, 47, shot her then turned the gun on himself, while his cousin and the school cop’s son were in the next room.
They fled into the hallway after hearing the gunshots, sources said, and were met by police responding to the 911 call.
