NY - Sean "Diddy" Combs charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, Sept. 17, 2024

I hope so but I’ve seen a couple of articles saying that he is already winning some of the jurors over. Someone has to be following jurors around offering cash stacks.

All it takes is one person. I consider myself a person with high ethics and morals. But, honestly, a large stack of cash that SC has, if someone has a parent who needs Long Term Care, or other expenses, I can actually see a huge ethical dilemma. There can be a lot of pressure on families sometimes. Even the most ethical person can be be tempted.

And if a person had no ethics or morals and just wanted money to blow, that is even easier. Based on this, who knows? That being said, wealthy people have gone to prison based on jury outcomes, and SC has money to burn on appeals.

All his phone calls and mail is watched. Anything he tries to do would be by getting someone else to do it. He can't. So he is being watched and watched more probably than most because of his unusual circumstances. Anyone who does his bidding is an idiot and can expect to wear an orange or whatever jump suit. Not worth it.

I’d agree except people have been doing his dirty work for decades. Including, one would assume, the attorney he gets private time with. I absolutely could see him attempting to pay off or initiate a juror.

But I’m also fearful of those testifying. Someone said before that he will get prison and it won’t matter because his money will be seized etc and that’s not always how this works when it’s this large of A problem with this many many unknown entities. There’s a lot of power here.

He is getting way to much credit.

Prison takes your money. Expect prison to be hellish. Celebrity or no celebrity, he is persona non grata. No one wants to be associated with him. He is getting too much credit that he will actually not have. His money cannot change his despicable behavior.

We will see.

True. Look at the victims who have been paid to be quiet. They fear for their families, being homeless, dead and hunted. That’s how strong the power is.

the judge decided juror #6 would be booted and replaced with an alternate - and he gave stern comments to the defense for making the juror dismissal issue about race, saying it would be ‘improper’ to make the decision based on the juror's races.'

The judge said Diddy ‘has not got the right to a boutique jury’ that mirrors his own race.

The prosecution is expected to wrap up their case over the next days.

For the first time, the jury was shown actual video of the explicit sexual encounters. Previously, the jury had only seen still images and heard audio of the encounters.

The jury was shown clips from three videos created in October 2012, October 2014, and December 2014, totaling just over two minutes. Jurors, the judge, the witness, and the parties wore headphones. The lawyers were not shown the videos because the monitors are visible to the gallery, where members of the public and press are seated.

Most jurors remained stone-faced while the explicit videos played. One female juror put her hand over her eye, as she had done before, while another appeared to wince.

That is why our grandparents tried to take us to chruch. All it takes is healthy moral opposition .

Judge Arun Subramanian just took the bench and said that there’s a sick juror who’s unable to attend court today.

Their partner called and told the court that the juror had vertigo symptoms and had to go home.

The judge said he doesn’t see how we can proceed today. Defense attorneys and prosecutors are going to discuss their options at a sidebar now.

Judge Arun Subramanian said the court is going to make some further inquiries as to the juror who called out sick this morning.

In the meantime, prosecutors and defense attorneys will debate some exhibits the sides don’t agree on.

Sick juror derails Diddy trial as rapper’s ‘drug mule’ was set to testify

Paul was found with cocaine and marijuana candy when he was cuffed just as he was about to board Combs’ plane in Miami.
The feds dropped the case against Paul in December after he completed a drug treatment diversion program.
On Tuesday, when the jurors were not in the courtroom, Paul briefly took the witness stand to plead the Fifth and exercise his right not to incriminate himself.
However, prosecutors then said they would grant him immunity if he testified truthfully in the case.

Prosecutors are set to rest their case on Tuesday once Combs’ lawyers finish cross-examining the final government witness — Joseph Cerciello, a Homeland Security Investigations agent whose testimony included spending hours reading aloud text message exchanges, some of which involved Combs or other people in his orbit.

As they questioned Cerciello, Combs’ lawyers played excerpts from the videos, which were shown only to the jury and the parties — not reporters or public observers of the trial — because of their graphic nature.

We're told the possible defense goes like this ... this was a manufactured case of bedroom police instigated by Homeland Security Investigations and rather than worrying about what Diddy is doing with baby oil and lube, HSI should worry more about the escalating conflict with Iran.

I haven’t heard anyone saying the charges against him have been proven. The FBI raids felt so serious that it would seem the evidence was overwhelming.

Diddy "danced" and enjoyed the music during the videos.

I find it interesting that the defense plans to have no witnesses.

??? The entitlement continues. I’m surprised the judge didn’t say anything.

Do you know if he is visible on the videos? I wonder if they can hear him also.

I am not sure, the whole thing is so sordid and distasteful.

The real question, is did the case prove Sean Combs did the crimes he is charged for? I am sorry for the people who were caught up in this mess. They obviously suffered tremendously.

That being said, it continues to bother me, that these people who claim abuse from Sean Combs, also appeared to benefit financially from their association with SC. And as far as we have seen, they were all consenting adults.

Granted, the physical abuse of Cassie was horrific. But SC is not being charged with assault. He has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, two charges of sex trafficking and two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution. Many of the most severe allegations relate to the racketeering conspiracy charge.

This includes accusations of kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual activities, sometimes using firearms or threats of violence.

I would say that based on the evidence and testimony presented, Sean Combs has done those things. And what surprises me the most, is that apparently he has no idea that he actually did these things, or that they were unacceptable, and in many cases, against the law.

This behavior has been so normalized in his peer group and culture, that he just kept moving the goal posts further and further in his own twisted psyche, that he kept on going, and people who were his friends a decade ago, or longer, dropped him. The fact that Kanye West continues to support him, demonstrates to me that KW is also on the same path of debauchery.

Oh boy! Look at those compliments. M00 thesr types of compliments are an attempt to build rapport and create a positive impression with the Judge. Also, it is nothing more than a tactic to throw suspicion off themselves and present themselves as cooperative and helpful, which can make it harder for a Judge or jury to believe they are capable of committing a crime. 🙄🤨

Typical narcissist. I wonder if he will think the judge is so awesome after he is sentenced.
