SKETCH OF MURDER VICTIM — This unidentified woman was found Saturday, Nov. 10 in a Caledonia cornfield. Authorities first believed the woman was about 20 years old after examining her teeth. X-rays taken Wednesday, Nov, 14, by a Dansville radiologist
indicate the woman may be 16 to 18 years old, Coroner Richard Johnson said. She had been wearing a bathing suit and was tanned. The woman had three, small, old scars on the second joint of the left index finger, was attractive, athletically built, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and had weighed between 115 and 125 pounds. She had brown eyes.

Sometime during the early morning hours of November 10,1979, a vehicle came to a halt alongside Henry Clements cornfield on Route 20 in the Town of Caledonia. The person or persons in the vehicle preceded to drag a body into the field. A shot was fired, and soon thereafter the vehicle sped away.

That morning at 10 a.m., Mr.Clements discovered the body of a young girl. Her pockets had been turned inside out and she had been stripped of any identity she may have had.

Subsequent forensic examination indicated that the girl had been shot sometime within twelve hours of when her body had been discovered, and that she had been shot a second time through the back while lying in the cornfield. Her age was estimated at between 13 and 19, and probably about 15 years.

That day marked the beginning of a thirteen year investigation by the Livingston County Sheriffs Department. During that time interviews were conducted with two mass murderers, Henry Lee Lucas and Otis O'Toole, both of whom have taken credit for the murder.

1985:
Livingston Countv investigators are convinced that Henry Lee Lucas who shot an unidentified girl to death in 1979 in a cornfield near Caledonia. When interviewed last fall in Texas, Lucas confessed. The case was closed last November by Sheriff Kane, although Lucas and, Ottis Toole were supposedly working in Florida at the time of the shooting.

Thank you. I do not think the sketch looks much like the post mortem photo.......but they had more to go by than I do. I have spent hours upon hours looking up toole/Lucas......and I just do not think she is one of their victims.....nothing about her case fits the MO they used.

Paraphrasing, a girl identified as Tina Parks, a 15 yr old runaway from California arrived in NYC area on Oct 30, 1977. She helped bust a protitution ring in Manhattan. I cannot find a missing Tina Parks from anywhere. She would have been 17 at the time of Cali Doe's death. She would fit the pollen profile. I did look at the pdf annemc2 kindly provided about the pollen profile. If you look at the crime scene pic, Cali is not what I would call tan at all. It also states the pollen was from the inside of the pant pockets and the lining of the coat.

I read and read all night long and Lucas had Becky with him wherever he went during this timeframe. The fact that the case is still open, says to me there were facts Lucas did not know and that the sheriff did not believe him to be the killer either.

It looks like you have too! This one haunts me- she looks like someone I know. In looking over the Doe network file, I can tell you, the shoes are Earth Shoes, or a knockoff of; I had a pair.
And this stands out : "The victim had had no broken bones that would have been in a hospital's records." Which to me, means there may have been evidence of a break(s), but they were not medically tended to, or they were to fingers/toes- which many simply taped/splinted.

Yes, little Cali haunts me too.....often abused kids have breaks that do not receive medical care. Common ones are wrists and slight arm fractures.......or as you said fingers/toes......nose is another common one.....

Yes, when I saw that I instantly thought of a dental student.......ERs back then often used them to treat toothache pain.......

I am also wondering if ( as suggested by someone in a earlier post......maybe she was on some type of medication that added to the tooth decay.....I wish we had her toxicology screen, if one was done.

Once again I find myself up all night reading about Henry Lee Lucus and his possible involvement in Cali's murder. Her death was horrible enough, I can't stomach the thought of those monsters hurting her.

I am not sure I am permitted to post this, so if it is a violation, then Mods please remove it. I do not know who prepared this, but it even includes his SS# so it may have come through several sources. One page is handwritten and harder to make out......but.....here is what I can make out around Cali's murder time

10/30/1979 Jane Doe Williamson City TX

10/31/1979 Lucas committed a murder in Georgetown Tx
( Second Source says SAn Angelo Tx. He called the victim "orange socks")

?/29/1979 Russell Curtis king w/m castrated

In looking over the entire list I do not see any murders in NY, or even any evidence he ever passed through NY. I can not guarantee if this list is complete, or accurate....but it looks very detailed to me......I just do not believe he is Cali's killer. The pages are out of order, so you have to flip back and forth.....but I do not see NY or anything relatively close to it in his travels.

Cali, 15-19, 5'3"-5'5" (somes sources), 120#, brown, brown, multiple scars, Blood type A-. Poor dental hygiene.

Nancy 18 years old at disappearance. 5'7" (could be reported height), 124#, brown, brown, Blood Type A-. History of epilepsy and seizures, could result in many scars as she was on and off medications, especially if they were tonic/clonic. On medication for seizures (on and off) and those notoriously cause tooth erosion and decay due to gum issues. Date last seen July 20, 1977. Dental issues related to anticonvulsants such as is a huge issue causing gum inflammation and severe dental issues. Had plans to go to Florida prior to disappearance.


Blood type A rh- is not very common (3.53% in the world per wiki) and 6% in the USA.

Nancy was a follower of Prem Rawat, Divine Mission. Last seen in a "preemie" (those who are leaving the organization or causing issues for it) house for those with medical issues in Maryland. It appears she was under the care of Dr John Horton and Dr Robert Hallowitz at the time.

I have been stuck on Nancy Jason. Reading ahead while I post I hope that I have not jumped the gun. I submitted Nancy Jason electroncially last night and may try to call next week if I don't hear anything. Key exerpts from the post below. However, laying the photos side by side is striking.

One strange think is that there was a NamUs profile for Nancy Jason in March that has now disappeared. However she is still on Doe and Charley and there is no evidence on the web that her case is resolved. I don't know what to think about this. Namus had made a number of changes lately may be related to "privacy" - eliminating birthdays, dentals, DNA info etc. Maybe they honored some request to remove this listing or maybe it was a transition error?

She looks promising, the only thing that caught my eye was the ears, the ears belonging to Cali Doe are detached, where as the ears on Nancy are attached at the bottom. Other then that, very similar !!! GOOD JOB!!!
