I have actually seen that done, in a way. Several years ago there was a case in Vegas I believe where LE needed the public's help to ID the child. They didn't show her face but they showed other images of her (something like a shirt she was wearing or some other identifiable clothing item, I can't recall exactly) and everything else in the still frame was blocked out. For me, it was brutal to even look at that since I *knew* where the image came from. I honestly don't think LE should ever do that, and don't recall any other case where it's been done (that made the national headlines, anyway).

Yeah there was a case on here that LE asked us to stop talking about that was similar and involved a little boy. I still wonder if it was resolved

I don't agree with displaying images that can in any way publicly identify the child, but in the second case I refer to, nothing identifying the child was used, only items that could help determine the location of the assault. By determining location, they were ultimately able to zero in on both the victim and the perp.

Whew .. my hat sure goes out to the LE that have to handle these cases. Thank God they exist !!

Ugh no that wasn't the case, I'd never read about that one before. But yes, thank God there are trained LE that handle these cases.

I've not checked in here in a bit. But trying to catch up . So, it would appear the female perp was indeed fully participating of her own free will, correct? I had tried to give her the possible benefit of the doubt but adding charges doesn't seem like LE thinks she was his slave.
Do we know if his own children are ok?
Do we know if the new charges means that the existing charges against D & F will not have to go to trial necessarily and spare them and their community the public embarrassment? That has been a lot of my concern from day one that this community can heal without ever having to go out of their comfort zone for these ***************** perps day in court.

And the victimization does not stop there !~ Imagine being the child, trying to recover from, getting all the therapy and meds and help that is available, finally getting some solid footing beneath you and feeling hopeful and then realizing as an adult that sick **** across the globe are still watching the video of you as a child being victimized? I CANT ! Some days my spiritual compass is not in check but I know this, they will all burn in hell, the pperps, the buyers, the distributors and any one of the nameless, faceless people who turned a blind eye to it so they could make a buck , but knew what that material contained. Thank goodness LE did decide to release a small portion of this video, as the little girl's dress was recognized (her face wasn't shown). If I recall correctly the monster's face was shown also. I remember this case as well, and actually the little girl's face *was* shown in a variety of shots, as well as her first name mentioned. Authorities were desperate to locate her feeling she was in grave danger based on what they had seen. In this case, thankfully, she was alive and well and no where near the monster, but it didn't have to end that way. Personally, I think authorities did the right thing.
