Investigators took photos every step of the way as they executed the search warrant - he is currently IDing those photos


VanNamee - they opened the documents found in the CamScanner account - 1st doc was letter of intent - creation date 1/14/15


VanNamee - 2nd document found in account - letter of reference w/ CFC letter head - for Conley - written by Mary Yoder - created on 05/01/15

Feb 2016 - VanNamee says they were still investigating, cutting leads, etc - had been about 40 days since last time they spoke with Conley.


Feb 2, 2016 - called Conley’s home requesting an interview - set up a time for her to come to Sheriff’s Dept.


VanNamee: Feb 5, 2016 - interview with Kaitlyn Conley - her parents came with her.


VanNamee: Interview was recorded. Parents waited in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office.


VanNamee mirandized Conley before beginning Feb interview. #ConleyRetrial

The prosecution will show an edited version of the interview video - clips from the interview.


This portion of the interview will take about 40-45 mins. Court taking a quick break before they start that portion of today’s testimony.


Back from break - before the jury enters, the judge just told spectators that if they can’t watch the video w/o any reaction to leave now

Last interview that was played, Conley family became very emotional, some left the courtroom.

During the last interview, on Dec 21, VanNamee learned Conley was the author of the anonymous letter.
