After about 2 hours, VanNamee left the interview - switched with Lt. Nelson. Nelson interviewed Conley for about 3 hours.


VanNamee comes back into interview room - in video, Conley is crying.


Video: VanNamee tells Conley this is a “bump in the road.” Tells her he always tells his son to tell the truth no matter what.

Policelli asks if VanNamee was aware that Conley threw up while Lt. Nelson was questioning her - VanNamee says he’s aware of dry heaves.


VanNamee says he wanted to find out the truth - believed Conley was the one who killed Mary Yoder - wanted her to admit that.


Policelli asking about anonymous letter - their disagreement was over the date she wrote the letter, not the content?


VanNamee: Yes, because I already knew some of the content in the letter was false.
