Defense calls their 3rd witness - Ariel Murphy.
Murphy says she met Adam Yoder in the winter of 2010 - through a mutual friend
Murphy says the night she met Adam, they smoked marijuana - Adam showed her a marijuana plant he was growing.
Cross examination - Murphy says she’s only hung out with Adam that one time.
ADA Coluzza continues to emphasize that this was in 2010.
Murphy says the one plant was about 14 inches tall - didn’t see a growing operation
Coluzza asks if she knows live marijuana leaves are not smoked - she says that’s what Adam did - pulled a few leaves off plant
Coluzza - says investigators from the DA’s office interviewed her a few days ago - it was recorded - she didn’t know that
Murphy told them that was the first time she’d ever seen marijuana.
Murphy told investigators “I must have talked to the right person and that’s how it got back to me.”
Murphy admits she wasn’t completely honest with investigators about how she got involved in the case.
She called them back and said she was drunk, talking to Rocco LaDucca and he suggested she talk to Policelli.
She says the conversation happened over Facebook.

Coluzza asks Murphy if she had been convicted of DUI - she responds “No Sir!”
