Coluzza - talking about the Alpha Brain supplements Conley gave to Adam - takes one pill... and 2 more another day - 5 hours later he’s ill

Coluzza - remember this was a bottle of 30 capsules, when it was examined, there were 28 capsules inside (he took 3 total.)

I think she might have handed him that first capsule...I would have to look back...so it was the poisoned one, while the rest were ok. That's why there were 28 capsules still left. The first one was not in the bottle.

Coluzza - July 15, 2015 - Adam Yoder heads to his sister’s home in LI - claim Conley didn’t know Adam was out of town - another mistake

Coluzza now talking about July 20, 2015 - Mary’s last day at work - she was a “dynamo” in the morning

Coluzza - if Mary had ingested the colchicine in the morning she would have become symptomatic by 11am-ish.

Coluzza - Mary wasn’t “oozing joy” like usual around 2:30pm - by around 4pm she looked green - 5pm Mary is using b-room repeatedly

Coluzza - when Mary got home around 6pm, she was very ill - had to sleep on the couch near the bathroom.

Coluzza - Dr Marraffa testified that it takes 2-4 hours after ingestion of colchicine for symptoms to kick in.

Coluzza has said several times during his closings “it’s not just about the what, but the when.”

Coluzza - the lunch period would have been the time when Mary Yoder was dosed with colchicine

Coluzza - about colchicine - “a little bit goes a long way. A pinch is all it takes.”

Coluzza says colchicine is innocuous - the idea that she didn’t have opportunity is absurd.

Coluzza says the only wrinkle about using colchicine is it’s not easy to get - to buy it, you need a letter of intent - that leaves a trail

Coluzza says Conley’s very detailed about what Mary ate for lunch - “she mixed her shake fresh.”

Coluzza talking about when Mary was in the hospital - what’s Adam doing during that time? He buys gardening books, retrieves her painting

Coluzza says Adam still felt horrible about his argument with his mom on Mother’s Day

Coluzza tells judge he still has a ways to go in his closings - break for lunch

Coluzza says he doesn’t see much relevance that Adam Yoder was drunk at his mother’s celebration of life - they didn’t know how she died

Coluzza - Mary Yoder ingested a lot of colchicine, only 10% of the 1g of colchicine was left in the bottle - 1g is enough to kill 18 people

Coluzza - “What does that tell you about intent?”

Coluzza - Adam searched CFC for mom’s supplements, brought them to ME’s office - that’s a son grieving his mother and wanting answers

Coluzza - Sept 29 is the first time Conley is told about colchicine - but later when speaking with police she denies ever hearing the term
