was surprised no one commented re John Lennon & Pete Seeger info in my post lol- Click on my profile & will show those posts.

LOL I saw it, especially your Pete and Toshi Seeger references and didn’t want to go toooo far off topic. :D But since you mention it, I’ve been a big Pete Seeger fan since early ‘60’s highschool when I saw him in concert (and many times since). He and Toshi were national treasures.

Thanks for consolidating the family info in one place. They make me dizzy!

ADMIN NOTE:

Websleuths does not allow naming or discussing minor children except when that child is the victim, in this case, Evanna.

It's fine if member wish to refer to, for example, So-and-so's 2 children, or the 10 year old, but to name or discuss that actual child any further is off limits.

If the family name their own children on their own site, that's their prerogative, but it is long standing WS policy not to allow it.

Please bear this in mind when formulating your posts.

Thank you.

Today is my first day back to work since I broke my fibula october 2nd. I am the cook in a locked mental health residence.
I'm excited to be back but worried about my stamina. I still have my giant boot.
If you have any extra love and light, please send little my way,!

I'll try too peek in through out the day.

I accidentally found the TB family's first post concerning Evanna's death. I was looking for the reddit discussion if there is one, but instead clicked on the fb "Child protection they call it" post. There, from December 20th , 2019 is one of their earliest posts.. There is no menrion of any sticky candy. The do mention a "severely distended abdomen" and "swollen ankles". They also mention "kidney failure " and "heart failure" and "stroke. These are lifted directly from their post and are their words and not my opinion. I screenshot every post they've made except the comments. Why? Because I saw the story in the news and didn't hear any more until an accidental stumble on to a comment that one of the family had made on a local media Facebook site. I was completely floored by the rambling and blame shifting at the very first read. I do suggest finding the December 20th post as you can use it as a baseline for the shifting narrative. In the interest of full disclosure, I live in the same county where this took place although not even in a neighboring town. I do not know this family from anyone and would likely never crossed paths with them as their location is fairly isolated from the more populated areas of the county and they apparently did not have a vehicle. I feel bad for them and their loss and have nothing but sympathy for them. However, knowing only what they provide in their fb posts as well as comments on local community boards, it seems that they've got some "splaining to do. I hope that this child receives the justice that any child deserves when any or all the adults failed in their duties to seek help, when by their own accounts, it was clearly and desperately needed.
Thank you for your post! I’ve been going back as far as possible on their Facebook page and my head hurts lol.
Do you mind sharing links to those to those local community boards? I’ve had a really hard time finding anything. Thank you in advance!

Thank you for sharing! The Chatham Community itself seems very charming. And, noticeably different from the rest of the community's postings...the TB family postings! They are the very same as what they put out on their own personal page! All the accusations, defamations and calumny are there! Purposely submitted on a Public Community page. And it seems, IMO, from just a few comments to their posts, that the community in general is tired of the postings and repetitive BS. One comment from the community in particular made me LOL....

It was an 'Alexa' request to how do I delete a FB post!

PS..I have only been through the month of November in one community group

Just to fill in some additional info, you can also read a December 18 post on Venuska's FB:
Venuska Tranberg-Bennett

And December 20:
Venuska Tranberg-Bennett

In the December 18 post she says Evanna seemed to be recovering well from a "viral illness." She also says that Evanna had swelling in her ankles for a week prior. The family decided to take her to the family doctor in Boston.

Then Evanna woke up with a swollen abdomen and ankles and the family decided to drive her to the local hospital since there was a raging snowstorm. Venuska notes that Evanna wanted to go to the hospital in a car and not an ambulance so the family "began" making arrangements for a car.

Once the car arrived and was being prepared (whatever that means) and clothes and personal items were being packed for the hospital, Evanna suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing.

They called 911 (no mention of who actually called) and began CPR as per instructions from the dispatcher. They got her breathing again. EMTs arrived about 9 minutes later. An epinephrine tap was "literally drilled" into Evanna's ankles.

At the hospital Evanna had bruises, dry eyes and blood was spattered everywhere. The family was shocked to see that a chest x-ray revealed broken ribs. Hospital staff members were concerned about it. Doctors told them that Evanna's kidneys had failed, which led to heart failure and a stroke or maybe multiple small strokes.

What follows is a long description of DSS treating the family like criminals and a link to the 2007 article where the family was also victimized by Massachusetts DSS. The family believes that Evanna's poor health stems from being given formula during her time in foster care.

There's much more and definitely worth reading. Venuska notes that they are in discussions with RFK jr's law firm.

What is not mentioned in either post is anything about candy, sticky or otherwise.

P.S. I do hate that she and the family keep saying that Evanna insisted she wanted to ride to the hospital in a car and not an ambulance, as if it was her fault. And they added the raging snowstorm in case that wasn't enough blame to place everywhere but upon the 7 adults who were supposed to protect and care for the children. Makes me mad.

FYI: Regarding their constant threats of defamation

also: I have been documenting their many lies: Their first posts (perhaps under Edited) they actually state they were getting ready to take her to their Doctor back in Boston (the homeopathic one who doesn’t have records). They later changed it to say they were taking her to the local hospital.

Now here's some food for thought. The particular snow event that they referred to as complicating their plans occurred from December 1st through the 3rd wirh the majority of snowfall occurring on the 2nd and all snow ended at dawn on the 3rd. If this storm was a concern in the planning of a trip to the doctor, I would view this as the family knowing she needed medical care before she collapsed on the 3rd, but failing to do so. If she had such an alarmingly distended abdomen as they described, 911 should have been called upon seeing this. I'm no medical expert but I'm no fool. That is my opinion. There is reference to the liquid candy coming out if her mouth while ems was working on her in the second post.

The 'raging snowstorm' described in their postings was quickly debunked by a national weather service note which was posted here on the first thread from last year. It stated the area had approx 2 inches that day. Hardly a raging snow storm. The flair for the dramatic goes into over-drive with them, IMO.

Also, the evolving candy issue, IMO came about because of the contents of the GI tract suction which they more than likely witnessed in the hospital. The family's description of "brown like goo" (similar to the candy that Momma made mind you) came into the story. IMO, the brown like goo was GI contents, and is similarly described as GI Bleed content. Poor Evanna was an extremely sick child, with Multi Organ failure. So, the postings of the candy began soon after questions aroused, attempting an excuse of why the contents emptied from her stomach were brown and gooey. Even a few days later the story evolved into " she ate TONS of candy", IMO trying to make an excuse for the large amt of contents removed.

Also, Evanna may have been given 'candy' prior to the arrival of EMS or even the call to EMS. I can see members of the family attempting anything to try and revive or improve Evanna's deteriorating condition. And, IMO they might have "given her candy" ( which would have just sat in her mouth) to improve her lethargic condition. Just my own thoughts...

HA! Pretty sure you’d also have to prove how it “defamed” them. Certainly no loss of INCOME & all the “claims” even recalling “gossip” statements originate from their own page!

...."and began CPR as per instructions from the dispatcher.."

If the reported broken ribs were due to life-saving CPR, why is only EMS to blame?

They are very quick to place blame on everyone and everything outside the family. IMO

The video in this link includes footage from the afternoon 911 responded. Note the clear street.
Columbia County Sheriff's Office Investigating Death of 12-Year-Old

Also, the family took pains to explain that when they said the "morning" Evanna collapsed they actually meant "afternoon," apparently because the adults tend to stay up very late and often don't go to bed until 6 or 7 am. Evanna wanted to be grown up like them so she also stayed up the night before. Why did they make such a long post to say this? It makes me think there's a reason that it's important to them. MOO.

I think someone here asked how then were the adults able to prepare breakfast or homeschool the kids if they are up all night and sleep until the afternoon? IMO it's just another TB mystery.

If they were acting nocturnal on the day 911 was called, I would say that would make their inaction even worse. It's not as if poor E got worse overnight and the family only discovered her degraded condition upon waking in the morning... IMO

Yep, that story of them going to bed at 6/7AM bothers me A LOT, because if doesn't make sense.

I can't see how the adults in the house could've been going to bed at 6/7AM and the kids would have a "normal" schedule.

That's just not possible, if the adults were going to bed that late, so were the kids. That's just how it works.

Otherwise, who was getting the kids up and ready in the morning? Who was making breakfast for all of those kids? Who was doing the homeschooling? Who was preparing lunch? That just doesn't make any sense.

At what time did the sisters who seem to work at the farm/co-op went to work? During the December, I would imagine that farm work has to be done during daylight hours so, for them go be going to bed just when daylight was starting doesn't make sense.

December 2, the night before 911 was called to the house, was a Monday so why was Evanna allowed to stay up until 6/7AM on a "school night"? 911 was called at around 5:30PM, if they went to bed at 6/7AM did they really sleep 10 whole hours? Who was watching the other kids until 5:30? Why was mom wearing a nightgown at 5:30PM on a day where they already had plans to take Evanna to the doctor? Yeah no, this story makes ZERO sense.

I honestly don't think they were acting nocturnal on that day, if they actually went to bed at that time and it was usual for the adult sisters to do so, my guess would be that the whole family was pretty much nocturnal. The thing is, that doesn't really match the life they try to portray. I haven't heard of anyone working on a farm setting going to bed at 6/7AM, that makes no sense. It would be possible that they had been up for a while and they just didn't call 911 when they woke up and made up the "she went to bed at 6/7AM, she woke up late" to cover them up about waiting until 5:30PM to call for medical help.

You can view “edit histories” in FB and most of their posts and comments have been edited multiple times. It’s wild how much effort they are putting into these rambling posts MOO. They few I dove into didn’t contain any substantial changes IMO and/or were just too long for me to look for the differences. It would be interesting if someone had the energy to go back and look at discrepancies between edits. If you pasted them into word documents it might be easier. There might also be software or even a function in MS Word that would show you the differences.

god that would be a lot of work though...

Wow, Venuska and the TB family are now power posting on the WTEN and Chatham Community Board FB pages. They're raging because neither authorities nor the public are responding to the posted audio files that the family believes are evidence of corruption and abuse. IMO they don't see the obvious coaching, manipulation and editing in the files that we all see.

My own personal opinion based on reading the recent posts is that they've become redundant, repetitive and full of contradictions. Well, more so than normal. In any case IMO it's good that the children are safely away from this emotional meltdown. MOO.

P.S. You know it's bad when half the post is typed in CAPS.
