Just to fill in some additional info, you can also read a December 18 post on Venuska's FB:

In the December 18 post she says Evanna seemed to be recovering well from a "viral illness." She also says that Evanna had swelling in her ankles for a week prior. The family decided to take her to the family doctor in Boston.
Then Evanna woke up with a swollen abdomen and ankles and the family decided to drive her to the local hospital since there was a raging snowstorm. Venuska notes that Evanna wanted to go to the hospital in a car and not an ambulance so the family "began" making arrangements for a car.
Once the car arrived and was being prepared (whatever that means) and clothes and personal items were being packed for the hospital, Evanna suddenly collapsed and stopped breathing.
They called 911 (no mention of who actually called) and began CPR as per instructions from the dispatcher. They got her breathing again. EMTs arrived about 9 minutes later. An epinephrine tap was "literally drilled" into Evanna's ankles.
At the hospital Evanna had bruises, dry eyes and blood was spattered everywhere. The family was shocked to see that a chest x-ray revealed broken ribs. Hospital staff members were concerned about it. Doctors told them that Evanna's kidneys had failed, which led to heart failure and a stroke or maybe multiple small strokes.
What follows is a long description of DSS treating the family like criminals and a link to the 2007 article where the family was also victimized by Massachusetts DSS. The family believes that Evanna's poor health stems from being given formula during her time in foster care.
There's much more and definitely worth reading. Venuska notes that they are in discussions with RFK jr's law firm.
What is
not mentioned in either post is anything about candy, sticky or otherwise.
P.S. I do hate that she and the family keep saying that Evanna insisted she wanted to ride to the hospital in a car and not an ambulance, as if it was her fault. And they added the raging snowstorm in case that wasn't enough blame to place everywhere but upon the 7 adults who were supposed to protect and care for the children. Makes me mad.
