agree. you cannot permentantly gag someone I don't think. The gag was meant to prevent intimidation of jurors. that concern has now passed.

He would just drop their names on his SM platform and the J6-type people would take care of it. As well as them harassing others who might have the same name as the jurors but had no involvement at all.

Sometimes I wish the US was like us in the way that jurors identities are protected and must remain confidential.

I don't think it is either but I think we are waiting for lower courts to define what are official actions.
IMO whatever happens in the next year will decide the future.

Now Blanche and Bove are again asking for recusal, they say that the company Merchan's daughter works for has supported Kamala Harris and is working for Democratic groups this year.

An ethics counsel already ruled in 2023 that "his daughter's work did not pose reasonable questions about his impartiality".
