CARIIS, I enjoyed the quizes you linked to! One question I didn't see was why a giraffe's neck is so long.

Dobby is so cute! He's running around, and the other giraffes are paying no attention. Reminds me of a horse foal.

I don't even bother watching April now. I check in for a few minutes to see if anythign is going on, and then, close it out. I think my attention span limit has been reached. I DO want to see that baby though!!

I did horrible! And here I thought I was an expert by now! I think I got 6 right. The only thing I knew that they didn't have on there was the reason a giraffe's neck is so long and I was quite disappointed it wasn't asked.

By the time this baby is born, we are all going to be old enough to be great-great grandparents.

I'm sad for these two regal giraffes, there's hardly any room to move considering their size.

Interesting interview. The guy they are interviewing said a zoo in Denver just had a giraffe give birth and they had no idea the giraffe was pregnant. He also said he doubts you can see the baby moving inside April on a camera... I guess we are all Cuckoo.

4/13. Morning Update

She is "out of it" were keepers comments this morning; noting distracted behavior versus her normal inquisitive, treat begging, self. Significant bulging of the belly also noted.
Backend slightly damp but nothing to get excited about yet. We are still observing light discharge on a daily basis.
