I don't know? I still wish we had a Verified Giraffe Birthing Professional in here. Perhaps CARIIS could fill in? Tee hee
Least qualified one here! I do too wish we had vet here.
Did they:
a- know darn well how to get this rolling and bring out all the internet stuff with a false due date to get everything up and running etc?
b- truly just miss an evening or afternoon of romance and passion?
c- since they are not doing anything (the vet reminds me an airpline pilot doing a walk around his plane) Nothing. This makes me concerned tho cause if something is wrong I do not want to see it - so very confused if I have it on and labor starts I am not sure if I want to see.
Since this started I have seen a couple of giraffe births and it is neat BUT I already knew everything went as planned
Conundrum
And I do not understand, with all the snow, why cant they keep both stalls open so they can hang together in boredom if they want?
Has anyone ever seen aggressive interactions?
Is that what they say might happen?
I do not know if giraffes really dig human company (!) but maybe some staff could just go in and solely hang with each of em.
walking around in circles can't be mentally stimulating - I would also assume exercise is good for mama in terms labor - she ain't no spring ------------------- um giraffe.
IMO the news "releases" have much more of a "feel" of a marketing entity far more involved now than before .
