NY - Giraffe Watch: April, 15, due to give birth at Animal Adventure Park

I saw some comments that when the live stream went down, an old video of another giraffe (katie?) giving birth started playing. Some of those people thought they were seeing April when they woke up....

Must be what happened to Bessie, unless she's developed a wicked sense of humor. LOL.

Hoping I'll still be able to watch and follow... I ended up in the hospital on a heart monitor last night.

At least I have my laptop here now, but the wifi is slow at times. Going home at the earliest on Monday evening.

That's what happened here. We had a giraffe watching slumber party last night! I woke up to my 10 year old saying "Mom, I see feet! I see giraffe feet!" The stream was from another zoo though. The channel must have switched to another video when AAP went down. Darn, false alarm!

I didn't see it but read comments that it "flickered".

Yes. It seems there was innocent confusion due to the feed going down and immediately looping into a feed of another giraffe who had given birth previously.
