Found Safe NY - Gontran Jacques, 27, landed at JFK Airport, Queens, 28 Oct 2019

Gontran Jacques, of Bay Shore, called his family on Monday, Oct. 28 at approximately noon to inform them that his plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens.

Jacques said he would be taking an Uber home to his residence, located on 2nd Ave. in Bay Shore. Jacques did not return home and his family reported him missing on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Jacques is Haitian, 6-foot-3, approximately 300 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

His father said that his son does not have a cell phone after his previous one broke during the trip to Miami, so he is unsure where information about the planned Uber ride came from.

He also said he does not believe his son has any credit cards, so efforts to track any spending will not be possible.

Gontran Jacques recently visited his mother in Florida. He returned to New York on an American Airlines flight that landed around noon on Oct. 28 at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

When Jacques never showed up at his Bay Shore home, the family reported him missing on Oct. 30.

Family members said Jacques’ cellphone is broken and he’s a hemophiliac who needs medication. They’re worried about foul play.

There are so many things wrong with this case, or the things that were to happen.
I wonder if maybe he would call a friend to send an Uber to him, but then he would have to call the friend to find out the details. Or maybe he set it up before he left.
How did he call home? by public phone? maybe he had a tablet and he was using the wifi in the airport.
I wonder if something happened in Miami? Maybe someone was waiting for him?

There are always taxi's and ubers lined up at the arrival terminals. No need to call for them.
