I haven't seen it in writing but I heard on one of the talk shows that he had something like a $1600 credit for the next time, plus about $500 left over from the previous time.

Someone said that he campaigned on the basis that he lived at the corner of "Integrity and Honesty Lane,"... but it sounds like he forgot to mention that he preferred hanging out down the street, in the back alley red light district.

Does anyone know how this got out? Who snitched?

Not fair.
Has nothing to do with party politics.
It's illegal. If caught, equal punishment should prevail.
It has for members of both parties at different time.

VERY fair. Compare Mr. tapping his foot in a bathroom stall's coverage to the former NJ Gov., McGreevey.

And, no, I don't think it should be illegal. It's a personal matter.

Throw in a dental cleaning, perhaps? Teeth whitening?

To be fair, the man is all chin. So perhaps 5,500 isn't a bad deal for all of the above?

This girl had to get something out of it.

hehehe... Ok apparently this guy has been doing this for awhile if the IRS got involved due to suspicious spending on his accounts? Did I hear that right? That has to be ALOT of $$$ if the IRS is suspicious and all to prostitution? Geez..

He really does, doesn't he? Maybe it's the Bella Lugosi pose or something but..

I know..I saw his wife standing there and thought wow she is beautiful. See I am the type of wife that during his little speech I would of smacked him in the back of the head and walked off..I guess I am not politician wife material lol. Looks aside he is obviously a well educated man and made a great life for his wife and daughters. Oh what would of been, could of been, should of been....

He has three really cute daughters though, and his wife was attractive too.

I always wonder why the wives agree to go to these things. They know it's going to be a matter of days when they file for divorce, why not avoid the humiliation?

Silda Wall Spitzer's Friend: Take the Kids and Run

NEW YORK — She stood silently, stunned beside her husband, New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, as he read a statement of apology to his family Monday afternoon following disclosure of what is believed to be his love tryst with a high-priced prostitute.

But the words failed to soothe Silda Wall Spitzer's closest friends, who advised her to take the kids and run.

"They were great together — fun, fabulous to be around. There was never even one small inkling of anything like this," the friend told the New York Daily News. "If I were her, I would call my mother or my best friend and pack my bags and go someplace far away for six months and take my daughters with me."

I'd be busy trying to figure out where to dump the body.

I noticed she walked well in front of him as they entered that building. They've shown the clip over and over again on the news. I hope that's the start of this relationship ending.

From what I understand, a financial institution recognized money-laundering activity in an account(s) and alerted proper authorities.

Now, I thought that activity was in the accounts managed by the Emperors Club owners, but last night I heard the account was Spitzers. I haven't heard anything else about that, nor have I had a chance to read today's news coverage about it.
