Police Seek Help Finding British Tourist Last Seen In Midtown On Valentine’s Day

1557 Broadway is a souvenir shop. Wonder if he was seen on CCTV, or if store was still open at this time and he was shopping. Times Square and Broadway are busy even at this time of day, so I would think someone might have noticed if something happened to him. Broadway shows would be getting out before and around this time. Any info on whether he has dementia of any sort? Is he visiting NYC by himself? Valentine's Day might find him in a romantic restaurant and maybe a Broadway show. All JMO

ETA Yes this store is open until 11pm weekdays.

Very crowded area most of the time to the wee hours of the morning. Also a very safe area to be in. He might go un-noticed in a crowd but someone would definitely see if something had happened to him. There are police officers at every corner.

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) --
Police in New York City are asking for the public's help to find a tourist with Alzheimer's disease who went missing in Times Square.

John Tench, 67, went missing on February 14 just after 10 p.m. on 47th Street and Broadway in Times Square.

Officials say he became separated from his wife while watching a street performance.

So very scary for his wife. My stepmom had Alzheimer's - she had to be watched constantly and even so got away from us at a store once or twice.

I imagine there'd be CCTV everywhere. They should be able to see which direction he went. He must be feeling so lost and confused right now. I hope he reaches out for help and someone is alert enough to call police.
