I think Jeffrey is the master manipulater behind the series of events. They were all his pawns and things tragically back fired and they are in deep. They need him again to be bailed out imo.. What a mess.

LD and MG don't need Jeffery's money to be bailed out. They have bailed out. They are from well-to-do families. James remains in jail and has requested a lower bail amount so his mom can mortgage her house to bail him out.

Do you have a new source of info that you're basing your opinion on? Please post a link, if so.

They stopped and took the time to bleach JC's pants. Maybe they did the same with the knife (Don't know who did the actual stabbing references).

I figure they must be having a few flashbacks and/or nightmares since that early morn & eve with all their actions even if only one committed the actual murder

Respectfully, it is very common for young adults of this age and means to frequent the Hamptons. Similar, IMO, to partying in Manhattan clubs, etc.

It's been that way for decades, even if not quite of such means. Doesn't mean Joey had any connection to elder and/or younger Rackover.

It seems pretty clear to me that LD & JR are not the brightest bulbs. Even the most causal crime show watcher would have made far less "mistakes" when trying to cover up a murder and dispose of a body.

And yet, they haven't even been charged with murder. I dearly hope the prosecution is planning to do that at some point. I would hate to see these two walk away from this with only the minor charges they're facing right now..

I agree that many people party in The Hamptons and also that Joey probably could have afforded the car on his own. It's just that he was so brutally wounded, as if by a very jealous, scorned lover. Im just trying to connect the dots.

It seemed James was losing his hold on Jeffrey. James seemed to be spending a lot of time with Larry while Jeffrey was paying the freight. Why was he paying the freight when he really wanted him to move out? It just seems many games were being played and Joey got sucked in.. Imo

And I wonder if he leased cars. I have a friend who leases cars and seems to be changing and upgrading at a rate that always surprises me.

Does someone have a source showing how the cars were purchased? If not, then I think it's quite a leap to assume JRtheElder purchased them....especially for a young man with a college education and career.

You are entitled to your opinion. But IMO that means absolutley nothing. Most twenty somethings who live here do just that. Manhattan in the winter and Hamptons in the summer. Including my own.

Maybe I am reaching with the cars. I just don't think that level of hate can happen in a split second., even with someone like James.. That's deep hatred and overkill. Why did they have to desecrate his corpse.. Possibly have thrown him out a window and burn his body.. Why did they leave him in plain view? Who ever did this HATED him.. The big question is WHY?

Imo I feel like Jeffrey is hiding behind the curtain like the great and powerful Oz.. I find it hard to believe he just innocently came by to walk the dog at 10 am. and everything seemed peachy. Like someone else mentioned of how did James get the keys to the car? Im sure Jeffrey lived in fear if him running someone over without a license in his car and kept a close on the keys. Sorry if I broke a rule but I feel he is the puppeteer.

RE: pic of LD & MG... I think what struck me was not so much that the 2 roomies were together for the shot, but rather the two smiling, wine in hand at what I'm imagining could be a holiday gathering of family & friends - the posting date was 12/7 - suppose the photo could be from anytime, although my guess would be its thanksgiving - kinda between LD bail & MG charges.
just made me sad for the victims family.

I wonder where the poor dog was during all of this.. Hopefully the neighbors will tell the police if they heard anything. I would be none too happy if I was paying for top of the line security and they knowingly let a psycho move in.. They might get sued. .Big Daddy might run out of money.

Based on the pictures in the first link (12/22 & 12/21/15) JC appears to be friends - or acquaintances with Victoria Gatti's son Frank (?) - at least it looks very much like him so i think many of his friends vacationed in the Hampton's.

i viewed the instagram link posted by Donna. i removed my comment about the jewelry business because after i looked into it -that was another unrelated person that i was thinking of . My point was that i think JC had plenty of access to the Hamptons not to need JR.
