I remember the mention of the duffel bag, they initially said it contained the bloody sheets and pants sheets.

What happened to him being in a suitcase and lit on fire, but just his legs burnt story. Don't think that's possible

None of this was ever stated as fact by MSM. It is probably how you interpreted it.

*snip*
A cooperating witness led police to what is believed to be Comunale’s body on the Jersey Shore

Article failed to mention the witness is also the one who buried the corpse there.

*snip*
THE MAN, a resident of the building, had been seen stuffing bags into his car after partygoers left, CBS2’s Magdalena Doris reported.

Why no name?

*snip*K-9 dogs found pants and sheets covered in human blood inside,*

Evidence found its way back inside again.

Those sheets have been at the burial site, the basement dumpster and out in the court yard. Unless James had endless sheets and Joey had a 2 gallons of blood.. This can't be true.

BBM

They didn't leave anything out. This was 11/16, before names of POI's were released?

I listened as it was spoken and read it as it was written. Same as the rest if the USA following this case and are stunned at the inconsistencies.

With all due respect, I don't understand where you're are coming from

You don't state your feelings on the case or even say who you think may have done it or how.

Are you a moderator or do you work for WS in some capacity?

Stating the sheets were in the duffel bags is not "an opinion" or "feelings". This was in MSM and frankly that is what we use to get factual info per TOS here. A bit hard to get accustomed to, yet, we have all managed to adjust.

"Police recovered 32 pieces of evidence, including some blood-spattered ones, from Rackover’s apartment, said NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce. There were bloodstains on the wall, and cops pulled sheets, towels and the victim’s clothes from trash bags tossed down the garbage chute."

Yes. The duffel bag was mentioned in every article as being found near the burial site. No, I am not a mod, nor, do I work for WS.

It's funny you say that, I'm wondering the same. If it's not televised, I'm sure some kind of Netflix documentary will be made about it (hopefully!)

Honestly, all I hope for Joey's family's sake is that charges of murder are brought soon and justice is swift.

everyone in here wants justice for Joey . I was just asking because as so many of us are interested in this case , that it would be great to follow it day by day

That's what this is all about. Justice for Joey. His family.

IMO The trial probably will not be televised. Haven't seen many televised in Ny.
Also, with it having some high profile players (Rackover and Gemma), this may impact the decision.

I followed a case a while back in 2007/2008 (year maybe wrong)...Justin Thurber. I don't believe it was videotaped but it was word for word by a news crew there. Pretty horrible learning the details and hearing of the pictures taken from crime science. However it does paint the whole picture as to what transpired during the crime.

The info at the following link explains a little further about permission to video/transcribe etc

Many reporters also tweet during trials. We may get that.

And if you're local and have the time, you can attend the trial.

just picking a jury for this high profiled case is going to be tuff. I have a feeling defendants lawyers will be asking for a change in venue . looking for an impartial jury, but if so hopefully these requests will be denied.

I wonder who will play Joey?

He kind of has that JFK Jr. Vibe. I bet some actors have their eye on the possible script.

It would be pretty cool to see some video of him growing up and how he was

I feel like I know him, yet I've never heard him speak.

There is something so likeable about Pat also. Mom must be pretty cool, too

I personally don't want to see a movie.

The stuffed in a suitcase is strange to me. He was a big guy and folding even a small petite woman imo would be difficult enough. Does anyone know if it would be difficult to rearrange a dead body, (of course with it not being a living person balling up like an extortionist to fit inside a suitcase). I read somewhere a fireman mention that he could lift 500 pounds in the gym when they lift those heavy bars but it was almost impossible trying to lift a 180 pound dummy made to resemble lifting a dead body in training.

It may be possible in a super large suitcase??? How tall was Joey? Does anyone know?

this link with His player stats had him at 5'9"
