Sounds a bit far fetched. Not a very smart plan, if that was the case. Shannan clearly realized the danger at JB's house but was it after they went for the "15 minute ride"? Shannan went back to JB's after that and then freaked out. Did Shannan have two phones when she was running from door to door? The key is she freaked out in JB's house something scared her in HIS HOUSE. MB's boyfriend said he knows the guys house that she used to go. Is it in Oak Beach? Is it Dr. Hackett's house? Dr. H has a wife and 3 kids so he can't have girls to his house unless they are away, and then the neighbors would all see.

I think this killer is someone who has alot of time on his hands to spend planning out his kills. Maybe not a family man with 1 leg? JB + Drifter killing team

Honestly I don't mind the fact that your tearing Dr. Hackett's life apart. He sure looks like he's involved in someway. But why is nobody doing this for JB? We still know nothing about him and nobody even thinks the drifter is real. You and flukeyou constantly obsessed with the DR, Foreigner dissects HA's life but anybody know what JB's been doing for the last 20 years? Nope

IF you think about it, we all at different times in our life have had somebody do something for us. I know I have manipulated people into doing things for me, not evil things like the person we are talking about, but still asking someone to do something for you is common in life. Many times when we do this, it doesn't get done completely correctly, hence the phrase, "if you want something done right .." I think JB was lazy, wanted the money, and cheated by figuring CPH would never be the wiser if the girl delivered instead of driving all the way to NJC himself. If JB is not the SK, this theory is plausible because we already know the SK is manipulative.

I have never heard another rational argument explaining why SG was "different" delivered via driver, yet targetted by our SK. If someone proposed such an argument, I don't remember it.

i talked over the concept of only painting the nails on one foot with someone who could provide insight, my girlfriend. She didn't like my idea that there was something wrong with one of her feet, so she only paints nails on one foot. She said a girl wouldn't highlight one of the feet as it would still draw attention to the foot you were trying to hide.

She said the only reason she could imagine a woman doing this was if she had a cast on one of the feet and couldnt access the nails, or if the toe nails were being painted and with only one of them done, she was interrupted.

I like the cast idea.

Hi Goathairjones, Is this suspect the first person we looked at in the case, before CPH :banghead: ? Can you both speculate as to why you think it is this person who had a 360 degree view of what went on? I haven't read of any LE activity concerning this person. I've always been curious about him tho if it is the same guy.

I believe Shannan had to run past his house before she knocked on the mother and son's door where she left footprints in the sand. He could have hopped in his car and gone after her but I would think the neighbors would have seen his car.

Yes, I think inspectors suspect is the first guy we looked at before CPH. The house that he sold in July 2010 sits right in the middle of the entire scenario. And it is a very large house that can see over everything in that area. And it is positioned so that you can see right down The Fairway. And SG ran right past the house just before she was last seen by the mother and the son.

I haven't heard of any LE activity regarding this person either but it would be very interesting to see if he was investigated.

OK, I am thinking that the quiet period between these murders may have been a period in time when the SK was dating someone. So just imagine he is dating someone, they break up, and then he goes on his killing spree. Then he hooks up with another girl, they date a couple of years, break up, and then he goes back on another killing spree.

I know some nurses that work at the local hospital where one of the past Oak Beach residents worked. I am going to inquire about him and see if I can come up with any info. I know the employees that work there refer to that hospital as a "Meat Market" so it wouldn't surprise me that this individual was in on-again, off-again relationships. And conducted his killings in between.

And if you look at Bing Maps Birds Eye view, you will see that there is some sand on the north side of the house where she was last seen running through the sand. And that sand leads to the house that was sold in July 2010. I wonder if that was where "her footprints in the sand" were last seen. I would love to know which direction she ran after EC opened the door and SG took off.

I also wonder about the relationship between CPH and his neighbor that moved out west in May-July 2010. And I wonder if his decision to drive his daughter out west had anything to do with visiting his old neighbor and talking to him in person. Because you know those phones have ears. And you know that phone calls can be traced. The hairs on my arm are starting to stand up. This is too coincidental, in my opinion!

I always wondered why the drifter was mentioned aat all in an article. He was just thrown in there without any info except that he went to Georgia. I dont believe anything more was ever mentioned about him. It may be planted info suggested by the profilers for some particular reason.

I thought it was strange that one of the articles mentioned that both MP and The Drifter had returned to GA. That would be one hell of a coincidence, if true. And I'm certainly not saying it IS true.

But anyway, the thing that bothers me the most about this drifter story is that it gave ALOT of detail about him. Even connected him to Atlantic City and mentioned he had a penchant for strippers. Now, I can see a reporter getting some details wrong...but just concocting a story like that out of thin air? I'm not seeing that. It came from somewhere. The question is...where? MP? JB? SG? Who else could it have come from?

For me, it seems logical that if SG was looking for safe haven by knocking on doors and hiding under boats, this house would be my next choice for seeking help or hiding. My theory involves a chance encounter where SG sought and received safe haven at this location, but ended up disappearing. Like, she went up to the door and someone appeared and said "Come in, Come in." But she never came out.

Also, the house is not sold yet. I saw that this person placed an ad on Craigslist recently to rent the house, so it suggests to me that they are living out of the area permanently but cannot find a buyer.

I also saw a thread where an appraiser was offered cash by an out of town client (this person) to find a "comp", but was unable to do so due to the leasing structure of the area. This (the cash offer) reminded me of the SK's modus.

This person has never been mentioned by LE but I did see a thread where locals suspected this person.

Guy could be totally innocent so be extremely careful about posting any identifying info.

I agree with this idea, or another; if someone was at the house, but now denies it, and says you can't prove I was there (it's my word against his, "drifter" vs. JB), so you can't say I was there or I will sue, and he has lawyer, guess what the police would be forced to do?

Yes! I wore a sock underneath mine to keep my foot warm as my toes were exposed but I couldn't wear a shoe. I also just painted the nails on the exposed foot as it was summertime and I wore a sandal on that foot.

Many times the profilers will plant information, plant a statement or even script a press conference. Chalk it up to psychological warfare of some sort. Thanks for jarring my memory of the details.

You can easily sue the police dept. for defamation if they name you a suspect or slander your name in the press without evidence...
