A few random thoughts that might give sleuther's a jumping off point.
The Express Holiday Inn (Hauppaugue): We know that MW was last seen on June 6, 2010 @1:30 am, walking away from this motel. The fact that she was walking away from the motel is important, because it tells us that whoever she met up with wasn't a guest of the hotel that night. According to DS, ACL's last client on the night she disappeared had also asked ACL to meet him at 1:00 am, at this same motel, 2 weeks earlier. This would have been around mid-August, a little over 2 months after MW disappeared from the same motel. We know that MW was a registered guest at the motel, and we know that she was seen LEAVING the motel on foot the night she vanished, so we can safely assume that her killer wasn't a registered guest of the motel that night. Now, we have no way of knowing if ALC ever did meet this man at the motel (I suspect she turned him down), but the more important question is WHY did this man ask her to meet him there. ALC lived in North Babylon, her remains were found in Oak Beach. If our killer also lives in Oak Beach, why would either of the 2 make a trip north to the Express Holiday Inn in Hauppague? Why would that location even be suggested? Doesn't add up. Unless, Hauppague is a convenient meeting point for our SK for some reason. A few interesting facts: LongislandAndy (using UG name here because he hasn't been outted in msm) was questioned by LE about a date he had with ALC some time in August. He lives in Ronkonkoma, off the LI Expressway. It's a very short distance to this motel from his residence. Just something to keep in mind. Also, if memory serves, CPH at one time worked for a hospital close to the motel. Did he do work at that hospital at the time of MW or ALC's disappearance? I have no idea. What's interesting though about the Express Holiday Inn connection is that MW was last seen at 1:30 am, and this client asked to meet ALC at the same motel at 1 am. That's an odd time if our sk were leaving work and returning to his home in Oak Beach. Not odd hours for a doctor, of course, but for most other professionals. So, I'm not really seeing "work" as the connection here (unless we're looking at CPH). What other reason would an Oak Beach resident travel to Hauppage and be there at that time of the morning? Bar? Strip club? Visiting family? If he lives in the area of the motel (Hauppague, Ronkonkoma, etc), why did the bodies end up in Oak Beach? If there wasn't a trail leading to our sk, it wouldn't matter where he dumped these bodies...any side of the road would do. He brought these women to Oak Beach for a reason, and I truly believe that reason is so that he could be close to them, pass them several times a day, have his private, dirty little secret. So, I do think he lives in Oak Beach. But it's also possible he works in Oak Beach and lives elsewhere. Just something to ponder.
Courting And Gaining Trust: We know that our SK wasn't a first time client of at least 3 of the Gilgo 4. ALC had been contacted by him before, and felt safe enough with him to leave behind her cellphone. MB was intent on keeping this client's identity a secret from her "boyfriend", despite the fact that he had offered to give her a ride that night. MW was secure enough to leave her motel room on foot to meet this client somewhere of his choosing (despite the fact she had a room!). This wasn't a first time client, imo (not for these 3 anyway). He courted them before he made the move to the final fantasy. That tells me he has money to spend. But I don't believe that throwing around cash or being a regular would have been enough to convince these girls to let their guard down. There has to be something about this guy that made these girls think they could handle even a violent confrontation with him. Something physical. Was he older? Seem frail to them? Was he physically disabled? Was he well known, well established, someone they thought would have to be crazy to do anything and risk his position? Several things lend credence to the idea that this man was older (yes, I know what the profilers say, don't care). According to MB's sister, Amanda, the man who called her sounded like an older white man. According to MB's boyfriend, the man who called him sounded like an older white man. Additionally, MB's boyfriend recounts that MB and another escort hung out alot on LI with an older man. So of we had an older man, perhaps not physically imposing, who had money to throw around on these girls and a steriling reputation, would THAT be enough persuade these girls to drop their guard? I think that's a resounding "YES!". JMO
Is He A Drinker? For a very long time I've had the gut feeling that our SK drinks. Not just casually. What made me think that? I'm not sure. I could just see the guy slipping up when he drinks and doing something uncharacteristically stupid. Last night I decided it was time to either find something solid to back up this gut feeling, or drop the idea altogether. Here's what I found: according to MB's boyfriend, the guy who called him often sounded drunk. Now, that's not really solid evidence, I know, but it does give my suspicions some weight. Then we have an online review of a certain suspect, wherein the reviewer claims that this "professional" appeared drunk or high. Hmmm. Then we have info about this same individual which involves lawsuits and rehab. Interesting. Also interesting along these lines of thinking would be the call to the family of SG. If CPH made that call himself (and it wasn't someone just claiming to be him), it was a whopper of a mistake. Could inebriation have provoked the call? I'm gonna say, "YEP!". Now, I have no earthly way of knowing whether or not CPH is our guy (in all fairness, he tops my list, though) but I think the same theory about intoxication could apply to others as well. Therefore, I'm not ready to give up my gut feeling that our SK drinks...quite alot.
Just some thoughts...stroll past if nothing interests you. ;-)
