How could anyone tell if someone looks sick and distressed while running and at nightime when it's dark?
He would have to be super close!

LOL...I read it " running,looking sick and depressed". Thus my comment about his comments being so odd. My eyes must be getting crossed from looking at google earth or something.

Anyway, we're making the same points here, I think. Doc sees her close enough to make note of her face (otherwise, how does he know it was SG?), close enough to observe that she seems sick and distressed, and yet the former head of the EMS doesn't try to assist a sick/depressed woman running alone on a beach in the dark? How curious. Maybe he thought he ought not get involved physically. Okay fine...why not call 911 and have them come assist this woman? And he saw her at Oak Beach? Again, what was Doc doing there at 4 or 5 in the morning? Did he just happen to be there, or did he follow SG down there (perhaps in a white SUV?). Had he been at JB's "party"? You never know.

It's also rather curious that, according to 1 media report, when asked if he ever called SG's mother, Doc replies that he doesn't recall having called. How COULD he have called unless he had SG's mothers number. You either know or have access to that number or you don't. And if he's never even met SG (as he stated on tv interview), how would he have even known who her mother was? SG hadn't even been reported missing when the call from someone claiming to be the doctor was made.

Let's summarize for clarity: PH sees SG that morning, after fleeing JB's house, sick and distressed and running down Oak Beach in the dark, alone. He offers no assistence, doesn't bother to call 911 (despite being the former head of EMS), just blows the incident off. A day later, some mysterious stranger claiming to be PH calls SG's mother and says that SG stayed at his house last night, and is now undergoing drug rehabilitation under his care.

scandi, She's referring to an article I posted from the NY Daily News today that had a comment from a person named "Shanan" that was kind of scary--she said something about being able to help with this case. It was post #38 in this thread and here's the link to the article...the comment by "Shanan" may not be the first one . Did you read the one comment below that article? The writer refers to Dr. Hackett and wonders why they don't seem to be interested in him as a suspect. It sounds like he meets a lot of the criteria sleuthers have been talking about--for one thing, he's a police surgeon so he would know about police procedures.

As I said before, I am not really up to speed on this case and you all are probably light years ahead of me!!

Shannan is (to me) an unusual spelling of the name and that's why it seems like the person who made the comment was trying to use her name but wasn't a good speller or something. I could be totally wrong.

I would think they have probable cause to search the Doctor's home rehab center and his boat...

If he is the killer , I will assume that he is chronic secret drug abuser who made calls to families while under the influence...the calls show admission of guilt IMO.

I think he knew he was seen, knew he's been named, and was doing what he perceived as damage control...all while under the influence of xanax or something...

Back in post #781 I addressed that. Is he licensed to have a rehab center? Is he detoxing people in his home?

People Doctor or not just can't go POOF I have a rehab down in my basement. Is he zoned for this? If so I doubt his neighbors would be happy about it.


Even if he is an addictions specialist in his own mind he would not allow a woman to stay overnight in his home the way Shannon was freaking out.

I also addressed that even if an addict had some sort of intervention going they may scream about it but nooooooooooooo fr*ak*n way would they call the cops. No way. Even less so if they are out on a "date". prostituting.

I'd also asked many times about Shannon's DOC. To me that is relevant. I have only read a past history with cocaine.

Heroin addicts get sick. Real sick. I can see if a heroin addict was miraculously helped after turning tricks by a Doctor if they asked for it. You'd be sick. You'd want methadone. I don't think Shannon was a heroin addict.

Crack? You'd be more apt to be paranoid on crack. I have seen two people jump out windows who smoked too much crack. I know someone who jumped out of a window while smoking crack and wet.

Wet makes you paranoid and nuts and frantic.

No matter I so call BS if this guy called her mom saying he was going to help her. You helped her while she was working? BS. A person needs detox and then rehab to various extents.

Does he have a license or is he zoned to keep addicts in his home for detox and rehab. If not and he was going to help this poor woman then he should be cannonized.

she looked sick? how? was she throwing up? she looked distressed? how? was she crying? was her makeup smeared? was she fumbling with her purse? HOW?

When he says he can't imagine it...I think he's lying.

If a call was made to SG's mom, LE knows it. They should have her phone records. Then wouldn't they be able to go back & trace what tower the call came thru? LE says the phone call story has been debunked. Until they say otherwise, the doctor is not a POI. I feel like it is unethical to keep harping on the doctor.

So as you had previously posted, Fashionella, regarding the presser (according to Dormer), the doc is Not A Suspect. And, I suppose, neither is the John. I recall prior MSM reports stating that LE said he had been cooperative, too.

I do believe, however, that the doc must have seen her running near the beach that morning.

All I'd like to know is whether or not he called 911 that morning.

Dormer, speaking during an afternoon news conference in Yaphank in Suffolk County, also said an oak Beach doctor linked to the case by the family of a missing New Jersey call girl is not a suspect.

Thank you, that's the first I've heard of PH admitting to having seen SG.

Of course, now I'm more confused than ever. He saw her running near Oak beach...at night? Looking sick and depressed? Odd choice of words. She's running, but not frantic or fearful...no, sick. And depressed. Okee-dokey.

And this was near Oak Beach? Not on his street or in his gated community? So he was down at Oak beach at 4 or 5 am? What was he doing down there? Boating? Fishing? Cruising for victims? (sorry...but seriously...wth?)

Was this supposed to be in the early morning hours, after SG fled JB's house...or is his talking about later that night? If so, why on earth was she running then? Why didn't she just call someone to come get her that day or that evening?

I am beginning to think that the SK is keeping these woman, alive for his personal pleasure until he (they) gets bored. Maybe up to 4four woman at a time. That is why these bodies are being found in sets of 4four. Hmm?

I am starting to hear chatter of a possible 2two SK'ers working together. A dominant and subsurviant. This would make sense why there are two different MO's. One is strangling and the other is dismembering.

Could the SK be a driver for hire? (specializing in prostitution security/driver)

As I re-visit the dates these ladies went missing, mixed with the locations, I believe it is possible that the SK is in hospitality. A bartender, waiter, SECURITY/bouncer?

There are alot of gaps in time and events regarding that night. It also raises slot of questions that people have already posted here. Some questions for which we do not have the answers to yet.

1. Was the call made from SGs phone or another phone?
2. Sister has stated that SG ran from the house while on the phone to 911 and mentioned the persons name as she ran? JB PH, or someone else?
3. The man Coletti saw in the truck, was that her driver or someone else?
4. How did PH come to see SG? Was he awake and saw her, was he outside already, and was she already on the beach or running past his house toward the beach?
5. Who else was in JBs home that night?
6. After the 911 call, the police took a long time to respond? What did they ins when they arrived, it was light out already did they see anyone?
7. If JB was seen packing his truck in the middle of the night, what was it?

Many many other questions come to mind but I don't want to make this post too long

Ok I'm allot behind here but some thoughts
This doctor allot suspect.The Police don't think he is a suspect so they say.
Ok take it at face value like it or not.

Doing so some thoughts.The UnSub calls the mother saying he is this doctor.Why?Simple delay a search while he tortures the victim dismembers and dumps.By the way he used a disposable phone.How could he find out the mothers number?Simple check the victims calls in the phone memory and see which were the most frequently used and called in.Then call each one posing as the doctor until you got the Mom.After that toss the phone in the trash.Another reason to call as the doctor is place suspicion on some one else away from you to further confuse police and FBI.

The UnSub stalking her saw the doctor knew him and decided then to use it to advantage.

On another sight it was suggested Religion might be a part.I'm not sure but if so it would explain allot.A deep extreme fanatic would match the profile as well as answer why dismember beyond for reasons of transport. Adding to the profile the UnSub needs to feel in control and smarter than everyone else.If this is fanatical then he sees himself as God's punishment toward sinners.He tortures and dismembers meeting out God's punishment.(Personally I've not met a religious fanactic yet that wasn't a control freak believing all had to believe as they do.)

As I said it would fit with in the profile.

In either case if it is religion or not I'd say totally sadistic as said above he keeps them tortures them controls them until board then sadly kills them.In either case feeling in control thumbing his nose at police/FBI and thus proving he is better smarter and totally in control.
