do you think that john #2 is the same guy that jb's neighbor witnesses that night when jb and another man were loading a uhaul with only a tiny light on early morning around 2am?
In light of this article (excerpt below, emphasis added, mine), quite possibly.

Brewer's Oak Beach neighbors were suspicious of him, recounting a mysterious incident where he and another man were seen loading something into a U-Haul van pulled up next to his house -- with all the lights off.

But Gilbert's boyfriend/pimp, who moved out of the Jersey City apartment he and Gilbert had shared the month after her disappearance, corroborated Brewer's version of the facts.

[...]

Police say there was another man at Brewer's house, "partying" with Gilbert that night, presumably not the "Asian" who pursued the terrified Gilbert in a dark-colored SUV that night, who was apparently Gilbert's boyfriend/pimp/driver.

I am going to throw this out there, despite the massive geographical distance involved.

A Canadian Escort named Kera Freeland, who advertised on Craig's List, was recently found murdered in a ditch, near Toronto, Ontario.

She was last known to be on a "bad date".

The jogger who found her thought she was a "mannequin".

There was another escort found murdered in a stream near Windsor, Ontario (close to Detroit) recently also. Not sure if she advertised on Craig's List, though.

I was thinking about this case the other night. Thanks for posting!

That's a very sad article. Poor woman.

It sounds like she was doing high-end tricks, though, with the amount of money they're talking about. It sounds like she had more than one contact with a rather well-heeled client over the course of several months.

"When Molly said she needed some money, she would pick up the phone, make a phone call, then she would leave from here," Miss Coleman said. "Then, next thing you know, when she'd come back, she'd have money."

"She would have $500 in her pocket," Mrs. Burton said. "I'd say, 'Where'd you get that money from?' She said, 'Oh, a friend of mine.' That was it."

and

"After one absence of a week, Molly returned to West Colona and showed off a stunning black dress, a gift, she said, from an admirer with whom she had stayed in Atlantic City.

"She said she stayed at the Borgata," Rondell Burton said. The Borgata is touted as Atlantic City's most luxurious hotel-casino. "That was her first time going to Atlantic City. She said she really enjoyed herself and that she got to gamble for the first time, got to really see the beach, and that she would like to go back sometime."

Last night I had been reading that article along with a few others. A person interviewed in some of the articles is a listed RSO. Assault on children. However he uses the alias of another RSO. I looked him up and that guy was arrested a few months ago in Las Vegas as a fugitive. His crimes were not against children though.

Also I noted a person in the aricle last saw Kim held the door for her as she got into that vehicle with out of State plates. If that is true did she just walk out on Tennessee Avenue and get a trick that quick? Or was it arranged?

The guy names the make of the supposed model of the car.

The call, police believe, was made by a sadistic serial killer who abducted and strangled Melissa Barthelemy, an aspiring hair stylist, sometime after she left her Bronx apartment on July 10, 2009.

The killer always phoned in the evenings, spoke briefly and in a low voice -- and only to Amanda. He calmly spewed taunts and allegations. He sent text messages.

"He wouldn't talk to anybody but her," said Lynn Barthelemy, who documented the barrage in a journal she gave police. "One time I answered, and he hung up as soon as he heard my voice."

The calls abruptly stopped in August 2009
after a Buffalo TV station revealed their existence.

BBM: Hi concentric! I don't believe they have workers routinely doing clean up and grade or plow sand on these beaches. This is not that kind of place. This is a natural preserve, which is left undisturbed as a park. They only dredge the sand at the mouth of the inlets if they get silted up, but this has to be done at very specific times of year, which would normally be over the winter when the fish aren't spawning. The dredge spoil is then put where they are told to put it on beaches which need replenishment. The county doesn't own many dredges and the work is dangerous, so dredging would only take place every few years, otherwise the sand on the beaches would be left undisturbed, even if huge amounts were washed away in a storm. In the Spring, they may rope off areas of the beach to stop people disturbing breeding grounds for piping plover, which is protected species. They would, with permission, be allowed to plant indigenous beach grasses to shore up the coastline, which I believe is the project for which I posted a link earlier on the community association website. They may also, with a permit, be allowed to trim back the phragmites, which are now viewed as an invasive species, but only to a certain height. It's all very, very natural, undisturbed, hence the brambles and poison ivy problems LE is having.

The client owns a liquor store on the main part of the Island.

I thought we read yesterday here that it is JB's wife who actually owns the liquot store. In fact a link was posted with her response to the public after 2 of her workers were arrested for selling liquor to a minor. In that post she said she was the owner of the store. Maybe posted by Filly.

Acc to a new article from yesterday she had been with him in June 2010.

She went missing May 1 2010. How is that possible?

Has anyone done a timeline of all the victims, their date of disappearance, their date of discovery?

This is important:

Police sources would not say what led authorities to link the New Jersey murder victims -- Kim Raffo, Molly Jean Dilts, Barbara Breidor and Tracy Ann Roberts -- to the first four in Long Island. But there were several common elements.

In each case, the killer dumped four prostitutes near water and in close proximity, tossing their remains off remote, desolate sections of highway. The bodies were in various stages of decomposition, suggesting he kept some for a period of time after they died.

All eight were low-level sex workers, and the four in New York used Craigslist. Each had been strangled.

He had removed the shoes from both sets of bodies, though the women in New Jersey were clothed. Those in Long Island had been stripped naked and were found without jewelry or belongings, each wrapped in burlap.

Thinking about theories of the person Shannon named on the 911 call:

1. The person gave her a false name ~ so it was of no help or
2. Although the name was false, she gave enough other details (ex. flashing a bag) to that think it was someone in LE.
3. This person is their un-named suspect & they are watching & gathering evidence to make a case.
4. ?
5. ?

I think he let's the victim know, through technology-a throwaway cell phone, right out-of-the-gate, that he is going to murder them. IMO, there are no niceties, business exchanges, so to speak. This is not another job for you. This fits with the sadism exhibited by calling the sister of one of his victims.

I don't think the AC killer would have had to drug the women. The women who work on the streets there (and elsewhere) are often drugged with their choice of substance already and it would be very easy to strangle a prostitute without having to drug her.

The very reason they are prostitutes is the drug.

You're right Cluciano.

Oh meaning to say that not all prostitutes are addicts and not all addicts are prostitutes. However, an overwhelming amount are.

here's the post link

it says melissa was strangled.

so the sk(s) stores the girls prior to dumping them? makes me think about jb in the dark with a friend and that uhaul truck...

and that makes me think about when i was watching a case on the id channel where a killer stored a body in a uhaul inside a refrigerator.

for this killer to hoard bodies until he has 4 is insane. it's more risky to have 4 bodies on your property or in your car, and even worse to have to transport all 4 for dumping. this guy is really bold, and i wouldn't be surprised if he has an accomplice.

the post says that suffolk claims they have no suspect, however a source (a source that was likely paid a large amount of money by the paper) says they have been watching someone for days.

if they have a poi they're watching, then they know his background and that would be why they know he's a cop or has been?

another odd thing that's not been mentioned in the past news, is that the sk has been harrassing melissa's sister, amanda alot longer than i thought. evidently a couple months as opposed to the several calls previously reported.

in the case of waterman, it seems when akeem called her at 1:30am, that's when she likely knew she was to go to a client and left the hotel walking.
if she was walking, then she didn't have a ride. did someone meet her? did she take a cab to the sk client?

what i'm curious to know is how le can tell that the sk kept the victims prior to disposing of them?
le found the remains in various states of severe decomp.
it would seem more likely the killer buried them there one at a time, instead of hoarding bodies.
the killer could memorize where he buried the victims by mile markers, or even gps.

just because le found the victims in different states of decomp, doesn't prove the sk(s) held onto the bodies for awhile before burying them.
just proves that the sk uses the same dumping grounds for his victims.
and that he killed them at various different times.

does anyone know what they mean by suggesting the sk kept some of the bodies prior to disposing?

it sounds like some type of mispeak. why hold onto corpses? that's what gets people in trouble. if the sk actually goes through all the trouble of removing personal affects off the victims, then why would he hold onto bodies?

i still think he dumped them one at a time. otherwise what's he going to do? bring a load of 4 and drive down the road with a tape measure while dumping them? that's insane!

the whole spacing apart bit seems a major part of the sk's m.o. between li and ac girls.

'All died from strangulation, their corpses stashed before being dumped'.

That caught my eye too. There has to be some clue to that. If the bodies were always stashed in the some place there could be something at that place to be a constant and affect all the bodies, right? I would tend to think it would be chemical rather than fibers.

These 4 gals were found wrapped in burlap/burlap bags and if he removed their personal effects and clothing first before stashing them, it could be their bodies picked up something he had no idea of that was there. The burlap wrappings would have one type of fiber but whatever was the constant would have to have different fibers.

OR . . .

Maybe they were washed with embalming fluid or some other fluid as that would be a detectable constant. Or else set in powdered lime which would leave a residue. I think they would be able to tell forensically at what point in time the body had been exposed to these things.

I remember they believed Madeleine McCann's body had been treated that way as the family had bought formaldahyde {sp} at a local store. I don't think it would be an uncommon thing to do

Hmmm...

The "facing east" info is perplexing.

There must be more that LE is not releasing with respect to that subject.

Is it common for LE to note the location the body is facing?

What is the signifigance of the EAST?

Could it be the Eastern Vs. the Western world???

Christians pray facing East. Symbolism being the coming of Christ with the rising sun.

Not sure if the murderer had that in mind. Perhaps more like "That's where you sin from" kind of thing?

Years ago I had a friend who was Schizophrenic and he made everything in his apartment face East. Religious fanaticism and all. He told me about that significance.

This is important:

I wonder how they were wrapped in burlap as it is somewhat stiff material. It isn't at all clingy. Did he staple it together or tie it closed with string or some such?

Gee, thinking now that string could be a constant too in the disposal.

You mean the person who called pretended to be someone else. If so, that person is real and we have found out some oddish/negative things about him.

I don't see why posters think this caller was not who he said he was. Shannan had no reason to lie about his name either. Sherre said Shannan said his name many times on the 911 call and said he was trying to kill her.

I am open to the possibility but the more I learn about this guy I see red flags popping up all over the place.

I wonder if these guys all partied together who lived there and what an odd group they would make.

They are saying on abc news that their be a cop involved? I wondered about that when that cop just drove by and saw one of the bodies.

Do you mean the officer whose dog is Blue? I thought how he explained coming upon the bodies was quite lame. It didn't sell me at all.

On Shannan's sisters site I read an entry that one officer actually found all the bodies on LI.

I did read for sure he did find the 3 on a Monday and the odd thing is those bodies found were not all 500' apart. I believe one of them was off to itself quite a ways. Beyond odd IMO
