This is not related with this case but a recent example of a prostitue having a toddler with her. This baby was in another room on another floor at least.

We had a case here a woman in a motel working would put the toddler in the bathroom when she'd turn a trick.

Speculation Only: Wonder whether the earlier report (don't know which media outlet reported it briefly) about clothing found in addition to bones-it was quickly shut down, might be fragments, remnants of burlap cloth.

Not sure if this is helpful or repetitive but News 12 sources say that remains found today at Jones Beach appear to be human.

Reading about the toddler I was reminded that there was also a young girl, 16 who went missing from Merrick NY in August 2010, Yeni Carolina Morales-Diaz. She was said to be accompanied by her 6 month old son.

Beuatiful girl, Jackalow. I pray it's not her or her litle one.

Two sets of remains which appear to be human were found today. Believed to be 9th and 10th sets:

Bones discovered in a plastic garbage bag about a mile and a half from the Jones Beach tower are likely more human remains, according to a source with knowledge of the search.

Officials from the medical examiner's office were able to quickly determine the bones did not appear to be those of an animal, and were removed to a forensic lab for final confirmation, one source said.

About three hours later, state searchers found yet another set of bones farther to the east, a source said. Those also appear to be human remains.

It's two sets? One set was found in a garbage bag.

"A renewed search into Nassau County for clues to a serial killer has turned up two sets of bones believed to be human, potentially the ninth and 10th such discoveries on the barrier island since last year, law enforcement sources said."

Holy .... I can't believe it. They find multiple bodies/sets of bones every time they go out to search.

Has anyone seen a map with the location of these latest bones recovered? This is really overwhelming how quickly the bodies are piling up. And that there is a child's body there too is so sad--and seems to complicate the original idea that this is a "regular" SK targeting prostitutes. They are definitely going to have to do some much more extensive searching in coming days--how are they going to know when to stop?

One of the sets of remains is an 18 month old baby???

*Faints*

ABC taking a hard stance, calling this 🤬🤬🤬 SK an "animal." :rocker:

Calling the SK an "animal" also jumped out at me. It's a quote from Nassau County Detective, not Suffolk, and tells me that we're going to get a different style of info coming from this PD.

Comments on the Newsday article about trucks:

the trucks with coolers that you are referring too are not allowed to stop on the road anywhere. and if they did at all, for a few moments say to check the surf or fishing.. it would be on the south side, not the north. sounds like you are not from the area. no offense. its just we know thats not what happens. trucks are not on the north side. ever. "

"boat theory is way off. like others have said, people with huge pickups with those giant coolers in the front are all over the beach at night in the summer. would be very easy to dump a body that way "

Clarification: "North Side" meaning the bay side of the parkway, the inner body of water, where bodies were all found.

officially 11 now? this is looking really bad, They need to bring in every cadaver dog in the North East. I'm talking about a cadaver scavenger hunt! How many could there be?

The garbage bag may have prints on them and now I'm thinking the reason the bodies were placed in the burlap bags is to NOT leave prints on them.

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so. I think another set of remains found on the last search was a baby/toddler. Maybe someone can help clear that up for us.
