She lives directly across the street from JB. Don't know about in relation to the doc.

we know that the sk called melissa barthelemy's sister and harassed her.
would it be that far a stretch to think that the sk posing as the doctor called shannon's family?
i'm not sure what to make of this doctor in the video, he could easily be a fall guy as that's a close knit community.

shannon's family has been active in attempting to get the police to search since they found out shannon was missing. so if the sk is willing to harass melissa's sister, it seems a walk in the park for him to call shannon's family and say she stayed at the dr's.

yet due to the situation, is it possible someone in that community (like the sk) posed as the dr to throw suspicion away from themself?

it would be a dumb move for the dr to be the killer and call shannon's family. that would be too underestimate her family in a huge way.

yet if the sk were to pose as the dr to take attention off himself it would make sense. also to divert attention from their community.

honestly with this doctor video, it throws in a wild card into this. i honestly don't know what to make of this situation. between a smirking doctor and jb this is crazy..

If that puzzle can be answered with a no, your final question becomes central.

ETA: An interesting note that in none of the Dec articles that I read was there mention of the dr calling Shannan's family. I guess when the case opened up in the last few weeks LE gave the family permission to release this info now as it might further their investigation. IMO only

If whoever the initialed men's are stories and the driver's story don't match, then one of them must have done something to Shannon. They have no reason to lie unless they want to be bothered by LE. Whoever this serial killer is though, he's probably aging and doesn't know enough about current technology to realize that phone calls can be traced within 3 minutes. Maybe he'll flub up like btk. It's hard to believe that the more high end call girls who have good clients would take a little baby or child along on a job unless it was a regular who had gained her trust and lured her away. I'd believe Shannon's family over some doctor. I've not even been able to find out yet if he was the one having the party though. If the dr. has told 2 lies, then he must be the one, and got worried because no one so far had called 911 at any of his shindigs or associations with prostitutes.

it's extremely offensive to me and my family. these rich oak beach people are dressed up as first nation peoples wearing homemade headdresses and boxes.
this is a huge insult to native americans (first nations) and my family and anyone else who is first nation blooded.

they seem to be carrying some metal thing while an onlooker waves an american flag at them?? wth is this? it's not even described under the calendar of events. there's some pale man wearing a cowboy hat in the background.

it's as if they are making a mockery of first nations.

if this is how rich peoples in that community do, it's very close minded of them and doesn't make them look good.

Hi, Snapdragon, the interview was made in December. I don't think that the police statement that Brewer was fully cooperative is lessened by the fact that he was cooperative from the beginning.

Police lie to the media in cases like this as a tactic all of the time.
Just because the detective said that about JB doesn't mean he isn't on their list of POIs.
Lull JB into a false sense of security, compliment him in the media, maybe he spills something he shouldn't thinking LE is his friend or at least is friendly to him. Who knows. A comment made at a presser early on doesn't hold much weight to me. I've seen LE say someone isn't a POI and is cooperating, then wind up charging the person a few weeks later.

I guess we'll see. To me JB is hella more suspicious than the doctor.
I'm not sure either is the SK, but JB sends up my antenna.

In my mind, he gets a sexual rush from the killing, but wants to emotionally distance himself from the dead body once the struggle for power has ended. I just can't see him having the mettle to spend any time at all with the bodies, much less dismembering.

I bet LE was very interested in talking to this lady as I think she is the last known person to see her that night. I can't see where she is involved at all tho. xox

Shannon's disappearance didn't make the media or news until months later after they found the remains of one of the first four victims.

There's now way I can read the whole thread to figure everything out. Could someone do a brief recap on what happened with Shannon running and calling that night and who gc and jb are? I know there's a doctor involved, but also, how did he get involved?

I will try to recap... Shannon Gilbert (SG) was at JB's house (Joseph Brewer) as an escort outcall for a "party". She had a driver who was allegedly Asian that waited outside the gates to the gated community. After being at the house for a few hours, SG freaked out and called 911 because "they" were trying to kill her. This is where it gets confusing and begins to make absolutely no sense. JB called the Asian driver and told him to come get Shannon because she was "refusing to leave". The driver returned to the house and found Shannon "in the living room" and she was "upset". At some point, she ends up running from the house and across the street to an older gentlemen's house Gustav Coletti (GC). By now, it is 5:30 in the morning, but he lets Shannon in, and he calls 911. She was screaming "Help me, Help me". When she sees him calling 911, she takes off running again and GC last saw her either 'running into the weeds' or 'hiding behind a boat'. He then sees an SUV with an Asian man driving slowly, with the door open. He asked him what he was doing, and the guy tells him "We were at a party, and a girl freaked out and he is looking for her". GC tells him that he had called 911 and the Asian guys looks at him in a threatening manner and says "You shouldn't have done that". The Asian guy then drives off looking for Shannon. There are some stories out there that Shannon again called 911 and can be heard saying "Get away from me", and "Stop it", and then sounds that make it seem as if she was abducted and forced in to a vehicle. Oddly enough, LE does not seem to be interested in the Asian guy or JB! :crazy: Now, there is a physician Peter Hackett (PH) who has been interviewed by LE several times, because Shannon's Mother received a call from him after she reported Shannon missing, and he said he had been running an addiction recovery program and was trying to help Shannon, and that she had spent the night at his house. PH denied ever having made that call on the interview I saw, but there are other reports that he says he did make the call. There is one other guy in this mess - a "drifter" who was at JB's house for the "party" and who called his own Mother and told her he had left the state and that he his name might be in the news, but he wasn't involved in anything. His Mom, who we also do not have a name for, 'thinks' he might be in Georgia!
Sorry it doesn't make any sense..... it doesn't make much sense to those of us who have been here from the beginning! :waitasec:

No, this is the right doctor we have been talking about. The lady commenting on the facebook page was confused. There is another doctor with the initials KU who did lived there but sold his house and moved away. The sister thought the lady commenting was referring to PH when she made the comment she didn't know his house was for sale.
