The boat picture of JS is spot on. He seriously is wearing the same hat and sunglasses as in the composite!! Its shocking how identical the pictures are. I mean the bend across the lid of his hat is exact!! The sunglasses are exact!! The thin/medium beard is present. Shocking!! If I didnt have more homework to do on the good Doc....this guy would be at the top of my list. Do we have an occupation on our boy JS?

Somethings def not right here.....also LE should supply a voice sample to the sister of one of the victims who received the harrassing phone calls.....see if it matches the good Doc.

As I said before, I believe the AC murders were hist first venture into this world of prostitutes. I believe he was able to drive along the "track" and pick girls up and goto a hotel with them. Once the bodies were discovered and the media gained wind of it, he evolved in terms of using CL outcall services and prepaid phones to limit his exposure and risks. He also began using his home turf, places he knew he could ditch bodies that would take a long time to be found, if ever. His confidence grew, leading to phone calls to Melissa's sister and the taunts. I believe he often frequented AC, or possibly traveled for work and was able to slip into the city and out without begin noticed. But once the AC investigation began to gain steam, he needed to steer clear but couldn't control the urge to find more girls. This led to his evolution, and developed a skill and methodical way to go unnoticed.

That was my question. I never thought the murders were connected because the girls off Pacific weren't using CL.

Now that they say they are connected that was my biggest question.

Like was he wealthy enough to own a home in Longport or Ventnor or Margate? Was he just in AC to gamble, and like many men would pick up someone?

I also thought well he's smart enough to leave those bodies in water back Egg Harbor knowing there'd be no DNA. So if they are the same person why did he bury bodies in LI? I guess there was no place to leave them in water?

I am listening to the Radio blog interveiw now. I an noticing how crazy it is that Shannon disapeared in plain sight of many people. She made a trail of witnesses and 911 was given information. It really makes no sence at all. From why she was scared to how she disapeared. Is there a cult?

Another thing occurred to me. There could be a lot more to the driver's story we are not hearing because LE asked him to keep quiet. So many questions will be answered if/when there is an arrest.
Some questions might not ever be answered, though.

Agree. Thinking LE has instructed the driver not to divulge information. Perhaps, witness. No other reason to spare his name. I just don't think LE would care otherwise.

Now we aren't just looking at strangulation/asphyxiation cases but also dismemberment?

That opens up many other possibilities.... seriously....

We need to know how efficiently they were dismembered.

Was this a "surgical" job... you know, someone with medical training.... like a surgeon... might do?

Hemlock Cove, tomorrow. I had posted in another thread that this is where the 4 bodies were found originally. At the westernmost corner of Hemlock cove, the water used to come up and flood the roadway- this happened all the time. They have since made a natural rock Jetty of sorts with a bunch of boulders and sea grasses. It sort of makes a barrier between the cove and roadway (Oc Parkway)

Thanks for those updates MrsG, Do you think there is a certain reason they are going to do a water search in Hemlock Cove?

Is it just because it is so close to the remains found do you think? Or has their ground penetrating radar seen something below the water? Maybe to look in water one needs side sonar, but I don't know how deep the water is in the cove. xox

Eliza Avalon echoed perfectly what I've thought about this guy. He's got a few siblings and their ages seem scattered. JB's mom is no spring chicken. It appears she must have been older when she had him.

If you scroll down the page there are two pictures on the left. One says Photos: Serial Killer Hunt in L.I. and one says Shannan Gilbert's Disappearance A Timeline. Click on the last one. It is a video which includes the interview with the neighbor across the street. I think it is about in the middle of that video. Hope these directions help.

I'm interested and I think you are right and I agree with you. If he was seen in the day time digging nobody probably would think twice about him too. Not that he did in the day light, just saying what a cover. The history had a religious tilt to it also even though it was short lived. Made me think maybe the SK wanted it to return like that? Or his way to memorialize the center. Who knows what these SK think. They don't think obviously like normal people. lol.

Funny you mention Religion. Ive been having the same thought but more along the lines of a recently exonerated, naughty, Religious figure whom resides in this same neighborhood. Who if I am not mistaken, lives on either side of JB. Which then has me thinking that JB's house was the ACTION house. Participates strolled over for the ACTION. And maybe this ACTION gets weirdly religous with sacrificial overtones. Maybe SG overheard them talking about this?? Nothing like having your minions on display in front of you. I wonder if JS was in attendance?? And is he the type that helps his friends load up UHauls?? Its late, Im having weird thoughts....bed tyme!

The first comment posted just ten days after SG disappears and days after a call was placed to SG's mom saying it's the doc.

I wonder if the LE can trace the IP of that comment because I don't think it's random.

I can see someone especially without a lot of drug/alcohol experience thinking this doctor was drunk or high. (I assume by high they mean pills.)

This guy talks a bit like he has been drinking. Not slurring but he definitely could come across as a bit intoxicated to someone who didn't know him.

I still think the way he words things is odd.... I mean aside from the fact that he can't seem to spit it out. I would think that a doctor would be able to put together "How horrible, I am so sorry for those families. I certainly hope they can find him soon." Or something like that.

However it is the "I can't even imagine it happening" part that gets me.

When people die in MY family, or we have a major injury in MY family, or someone gets arrested in MY family I say "I cannot even believe this is happening..."

When there is a brutal murder up the street, or the neighbor loses a few family members, or her daughter nearly dies from cliff jumping... I say "That is awful. I hope they find out who did it/she gets better soon. Is there anything I can do?"

If someone were to ask me about a certain close family member being murdered by her spouse, hypothetically. I might say "I don't even want to imagine that happening, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did."

If someone were to ask me about a neighbor's spouse being murdered I might say, "that would be awful but it wouldn't be surprising."

"I can't even imagine it happening" just has a more personal feel to it for me... like it would be applied to a tragic situation closer to home... but that just may be a strange way that we word things.

But I don't see a comment where Shannan's sister states that the doc admitted to the two sisters when they went to LI that he DID make the call, BUT denied everything else.

The sister states that when she & her sis spoke to him in person, "he denied it." Could mean that the doc denied everything-the call and Shannan staying, etc.

What I read sounded like Sherre was saying the Dr didn't deny making the call only denied that he told the mom Shannan had spent the night at his house IMO I think it is in one of those sections of Shannan's site set up by her sister. I'll try to find it later.
