How would the SK have even known that Shannon's family had reported her missing? They reported her missing to LE, so someone who is connected to LE would have had to be the one to make the call because the general public had never even heard of SG at that point in time. So.... we have a physician who allegedly called SG's Mom to tell her he had let her stay at his home the night she ran from JB's house and he had been trying to help her kick and addiction habit. Th physician (PH) is connected to LE, lives close to where SG would have run, and just happens to live in a community littered with the bodies of dead sex workers. That is a lot of pretty strange coincidences. Do we know for sure if he does operate some sort of rehab facility there at his home???

Good point and I heard on Foxnews today that some guy speaking stated that rumor is that this could be someone connected to LE or Fire Dept.

Makes me also wonder if it is some LE person would they be working in the VICE unit therefore; would know of craigs list, who calls prostitutes in the past, and possibly lured them in that area. As a cop, he is in an unmarked car, waiting for them to come to the housing area, he pulls them over and whatever he does from there. Gosh...it can be anything!:banghead:

I wouldn't put it past him. I think the SK is definitely very intelligent, so I wouldn't be shocked to see someone like a doctor end up being the perp.

Honestly, I'm still convinced that the burlap bags don't have anything to do with his profession. He's been SO careful to not leave any traces back to him, I really doubt that the burlap bags that he left 4 bodies in would be able to give police any lead as to who he is, or what he does for a living.

It depends.

A lot of girls offer their services to multiple different suburbs of a certain city. I don't think it would be a big deal at all, especially if this guy wanted to book her for multiple hours.

Do we know what area she advertised for? Did she advertise based in NYC, or was it based out of Long Island?

I would think that as long as it was a "date" for multiple hours, that it would have been well worth the trip out there. This guy also could have been a repeat client, which is something I assumed for a while, but could be wrong about.

But - the only reason I think that he would have actually called the mother, if he were the serial killer, was if he got really paranoid thinking that someone saw her go into his house.

If he were the SK, then that is when he would have really gotten rid of her body somewhere, possibly in the ocean, so that he could be sure that no one ever found her. Then it would have just been his word against the drivers. And who would believe a prostitute driver over an upstanding local doctor?

Like I said, I don't believe that to be the case, I'm just giving a reason as why he could have used his real name when calling the mother. But still, not likely.

If you go to the NY Medical Board site you will find that he is currently licensed. A D.O. is a doctor who graduated from a school of osteopathy. They are not M.D.'s but in some states they are allowed to practice and do everything an M.D. does. Most M.D.'s look down on them. He is listed on the various doctor review sites as practicing, there is no other address than his home address and there is no mention of a treatment center. If his specialty is emergency medicine he probably works at the local hospital. Those guys usually work a three or four day shift straight (as best I can remember) then have several days off. They don't usually have a private practice. I'm sure they do well working at the hospitals. They are in demand. Their profile includes that they like excitement and don't want to have close relations with patients.

I'm starting to think it might just be a person who is in Law Enforcement.

1-Would know when family filed missing person report
2-If working in Vice, would know the Johns who have called. Some cops and retired cops have moonlighted and after retired taken jobs as security detail. Who is to say this SK could be a former or current Vice cop. This person could have called the service said he was such and such and wants blah blah blah and will pay 2 grand. Worth the trip right? Or perhaps he knows this JB and Dr has hired this service before and just waits for them to leave, then he pulls them over in his unmarked car.
3-Would explain a lot...perhaps this cop might not even work in vice but rather a patrol cop who maybe since moved on. He has had the time during work to do all his surveillance.

I think JB is into kinky stuff that SG didn't want anything to do with and it scared her. Big coincidence maybe.

Good to know the people in Quantico are on it. That is definitely good news.

You know what's weird though? You say you've been picturing an older guy being the perp, and I've been thinking the same thing. No particular reason, but I've just been thinking that he was an older professional type for quite some time.

I just don't think a younger guy would be able to pull something like this off, without getting caught a long time ago. I think this guy has some kind of wisdom behind him, as he's probably been following these types of cases for quite some time.

I think there is a fine line between being confident and arrogant. And I think a younger guy would probably be leaning more towards the arrogant side, while the older guy would just be extremely confident at this point.
