Ok so earlier I said I was from the area of St. Johnsville, I’m actually from Oppenheim 4 miles north. It’s so small that our mailing address was a St. Johnsville zip code. St Johnsville and Dolgeville are the “big towns” that we would go to for fuel and ice cream at Stewart’s. There isn’t even a store or public business in Oppenheim. It’s remote to say the least. To be honest it’s a great place for people to live that want to be left alone. The Adirondack mountains are not far north of here. Michaela did not walk there in the dark by herself. And there are quite a few snowmobile/side by trails that could connect to the power lines.
I’m very sad and disturbed that this has happened to her family and in my beloved area. It’s really is a great place to live.
Hello, Neighbor! I was following the news all night and this morning, and expected this terrible update. Hello! I have mine too and am also waiting on SP and DA. I have full confidence in them too. And the fact that a resident was inspecting their property for signs of Michaela makes me proud of the area. I really don’t ever remember a person being found in that manner but I also don’t follow every case. I am very sad that Michaela was found deceased but I am glad for her families sake that she was found.Hello, Neighbor! This family has certainly been to heck and back, what with the loss of Michaela's sister only a short time ago. God bless and keep them.
I know, but the SP said they can’t rule him in nor out. We all have multiple guns around these parts, maybe an unreasonable amount for some people. This amount of guns make me think trafficking, but what the heck do I know. And unfortunately drugs are rampant here too. I can’t seem to find the news article but in the summer of ‘17 we had a young lady OD that nobody wanted to be involved with, so they took “care” of her. I’m definitely not saying this happened in this case but I am saying that they haven’t ruled this guy as a poi or suspect.Just ONE of Daniel Nellis' priors: More than 170 weapons seized in Dolgeville incident - News - Uticaod - Utica, NY
