Since it was first mentioned that there is possibility that she might be Brazilian, I have contacted my Brazilian friends for advice and searching through their national missing websites since. It would be great if more people had a look too.

I have also researched missing from Poços de Caldas, city of 140,000 in the mountains of southeastern Brazil, state Minas Gerais, from where majority Brazilians in Mount Vernon came from with thought that our JD could be new arrival from there.

Unfortunately for such a high populated country with extreme crime rates and violence many missing are just not listed.
Of course there is no certainty there she really is Brazilian...
I have also looked into crimes in the area with similar MO and possible perps but about that at different time.
Shaving - as per her Namus (
https://identifyus.org/en/cases/10229) she had Brazilian wax done. I might see guy shaving woman on occasion (whatever), but waxing? Absolutely No, too messy and complicated. Also, waxing is done mainly because hair start to grow back only after one or two month. While shaving legs and armpits, well that's job for every 2-3 days. The point is she could be well groomed all over just a few days or a week prior to her demise.
She might have done waxing at the same time when having fake nails done...
