Has anyone seen or found out what Orsolya did for a living? Was it a job that she had the power to put someone in jail?

Read she was stay at home mom.

Woman found dead in duffel bag at Forest Park in Queens

There are some helpful quotes in this article.

“[Police] found [the 13-year-old son] alone on the top floor of the residence.” The son did not answer the door for police; he was found on the top floor. This may go towards the fact of how soundproof the home is between floors.

“Officers have reportedly questioned another teenager who lives in the Forest Hill neighborhood.” I’m curious about the nature of this interview.

Respectfully, is that the correct link? I can't find those quotes in the article linked

Living in an older home 65+years, the walls are plaster not sheet rock, those homes were built in the 40’s good bet they are plaster walls and well built. I some times can’t hear someone knocking on back door.

With a text message supposedly alluding to the fact that the killer had been in jail awhile, could it have been related to the older son's disappearance in 2004? Did she accuse someone or testify against someone who took her child?

Or could she have helped someone escape a DV situation that ultimately led to the aggressor ending up in prison? That person could have nursed a grudge a long time.

Just MOO with ideas if the text is legit.

(Is there a definitive time the texts were sent from her phone? Even if the dad didn't want to call LE as ordered, you would think he would have gone nuts trying to contact his wife, 13 year old, and/or a trusted friend to check on his family until he could get home.)

Apologies for the crappy quality of these pictures, but thought this might be helpful info.

The photo of the hockey bag being dragged down the street is from 75th avenue, from the brown house on the lower side (100-18 75th ave?). This makes it pretty easy to identify the most feasible route travelled on the way to dump the body. Also attached a google street view of the approximate location where the bag was found.

Additional apologies if this is already out there.

Some context on the house:

It is classified as an A1 dwelling, which means it is a detached single-family home of small or moderate size that is two stories high (with or without an attic). Based on the news reports of the son being on the "3rd floor," it seems that the house has a converted attic that is somewhat inaccurately being reported as a 3rd floor.

In 2006, the previous owners undertook an Alteration Type 2, where HVAC, upgraded plumbing, and partitions were added. Alteration Type 2 just means no change to the use, egress, or occupancy of the building. These are interior or exterior renovations that leave the use of the building same.

Based on the classification of the building and the past renovation, it seems that the basement is most likely not separate from the rest of the house as would be the case if the owners undertook an Alteration Type 1 renovation (since converting a basement into a separate dwelling unit requires changing the certificate of occupancy, which is a type 1 alteration).

I agree and I think that the husband would of known who it was when he got those text messages.

That screenshot of the person towing the hockey bag, any ideas on this location or the route that would have been taken to the dump site?
Possibly Whitson St direction?
No mention of a vehicle anywhere, this is very unusual and might indicate someone in the locality who can get where they need to be, on foot?

see my previous post, for what looks like the most obvious route based on where the still shot of the bag being dragged is (75th avenue) -- route is IMO

This alleged man has years to plan this out, yet he kills her in the basement, gets her phone, texts the husband and then rolls her body down the street, leaving a trail of blood behind. I’m not buying this. MOO
And why in the world would someone send a text at all?

I did read that LE was also interviewing a student regarding this case. I can go back and find the link, but honestly, so much that has been reported is bordering on rumor. I don’t know what or who to believe. The latest article I just read states that LE wants to speak to 3 men whose numbers were found in the victim’s phone. Either this case is taking a turn or someone needs to shut down the “source” rumor mill.

To remove a 13 year old in handcuffs after his mother was found brutally murdered feels like they had a really good reason to do this , considering how much this would further traumatize him if he wasn’t involved.

From your link:

<snip> The medical examiner’s office said she died from "sharp force injuries" to the neck.

They did take him out in handcuffs. (See pic)

What would be SOP if one parent was found dead and the other parent is out of town and the 13 year old won’t open the door for police?
