but honestly, so much that has been reported is bordering on rumor. I don’t know what or who to believe. The latest article I just read states that LE wants to speak to 3 men whose numbers were found in the victim’s phone. Either this case is taking a turn or someone needs to shut down the “source” rumor mill.

I totally agree. I feel like all the reports are putting anything and everything out there, feeding the sensational arc of this story. Very little feels legit or accurate other than this woman was brutally murdered and a dog walker found the bag with her body. MOO.

Also, mentions of the killer dragging a dripping bag.... I feel like it must not have been very visible as it sounds like dogs found the bag and some of the trail based on smell. So, yes, it was dripping but maybe not noticeably (from a visual sense). MOO.

With a text message supposedly alluding to the fact that the killer had been in jail awhile, could it have been related to the older son's disappearance in 2004? Did she accuse someone or testify against someone who took her child?

Or could she have helped someone escape a DV situation that ultimately led to the aggressor ending up in prison? That person could have nursed a grudge a long time.

Just MOO with ideas if the text is legit.

(Is there a definitive time the texts were sent from her phone? Even if the dad didn't want to call LE as ordered, you would think he would have gone nuts trying to contact his wife, 13 year old, or a trusted friend to check on his family until he could get home.)

I also wonder what time he actually saw the texts and what time he read them. He was in Oregon, if the body was found at 8:30 eastern, it was only 5:30am in Oregon. He may not have seen the texts until after she was found.

Apologies for the crappy quality of these pictures, but thought this might be helpful info.

The photo of the hockey bag being dragged down the street is from 75th avenue, from the brown house on the lower side (100-18 75th ave?). This makes it pretty easy to identify the most feasible route travelled on the way to dump the body. Also attached a google street view of the approximate location where the bag was found.

Additional apologies if this is already out there.

The route is quite, so quite I sure someone was woken up by the rolling bag. Once you hit Metropolitan Ave, even at 4am, there would be cars, I can't believe no one saw the person. The on/off ramps to the Jackie Robinson and Union Turnpike always have traffic. Very busy intersection.....always.

They did take him out in handcuffs. (See pic)

What would be SOP if one parent was found dead and the other parent is out of town and the 13 year old won’t open the door for police?

Thats a tall 13 yr old

And why in the world would someone send a text at all?

Just a question, can it be determined how a phone was unlocked? For example pin code/versus finger print.... I'm just curious the last way the phone was accessed if there was a lock screen.. Which is information I know I will never get, but I think it will answer some questions.

The extent of the stabbings and the risk associated with relocating the body (especially by foot, past homes, on a sidewalk) indicate to me that someone she knows held the knife. It seems unlikely a hitman would jeopardize the possibility of being seen outside with the bag. Why would a hitman care if the body was left in the home? This is personal. Not knowing how she was removed from her home, there could have been 2 people that carried out the events and helped bring the body to the door. Below is an article that husband called 911 because she went missing in 2020. Don't know how long she was missing before she was found?

NYC mom went missing two years before she was murdered and left in duffle bag

Maybe he was scared? Sleeping?

The media has said it was a bauer hockey bag and from the pic of the suspect they have the bag on its wheels. (See pic)

I agree my brain is going to explode after I also read that the husband also reporting her missing in 2020?!

There are so many holes to this story. Not enough facts right now.

All I can conclude right now is stabbing someone 60 times is definitely personal.

Yeah that’s what I mean- I know he was brought out in handcuffs. I’m not sure what the SOP is for a situation with those set of circumstances but I don’t feel like removing a child in handcuffs is it. I would assume he would go with a relative , neighbor, friend , etc. until his dad arrived.

I find this to be an odd statement. They found their numbers in Orsolya's phone. It seems easy enough. Maybe they can call them? Unless they were burner phones of course.

It’s just so interesting that the suspect seems to have done nothing to cover up this crime and instead did everything to draw more attention to themselves. The suspect used her phone to text the husband but did not take her phone or dispose of it?? Since apparently LE have it and are looking for 3 people that they found in her phone.

There are several things that jump out as I re-read all these posts. One question that nags me is when did the husband receive the message and did he try to contact his son at home at all?

1. He is out of town with his oldest son; if he gets an alarming message from his wife's cell phone, would he really not contact LE?
2. Did he try to contact his younger son and warn him to lock himself in the upstairs area of the house, hence the boy didn't open the door for LE?

The argument has been made about the time difference. When my husband has traveled, he ALWAYS keeps his cell phone on, and no matter the time, he can be reached. The time difference, MOO, shouldn't particularly impact when he actually saw the message, but -of course- everyone is different.

Another point: if she went out and met up with someone, why would she open the door late at night to let someone in? Even if she'd just been with that person, wouldn't their unexpected, sudden presence at her house seem creepy to her?

There are so many elements of this that give the impression of heightened drama for the sake of subterfuge! The body is dragged out of the house for a short distance; why less than a mile? The body would have eventually been found in the basement. The person(s) must have known she was not alone at home so why issue a warning about the whole family being endangered when they have another member there to do away with immediately? It seems like an attempt at misdirection. You don't kill one person at home, drag them away and say "the other one will keep...I'm tired and can do it another day."

It's all very odd. Very strangely staged.

He was the only one home, and the blood trail told them the house was a probable crime scene, so I'm not overly bothered by the handcuffs.

Had he been younger I obviously would take issue with that, but there is tons of precedent for kids of this age committing murder (I quickly found 3 or 4 last night).

I'm not saying he's responsible, but I could totally see how law enforcement believed he might be.

Wondering where more video is that shows the person AFTER dumping the hockey bag. Where did he or she walk then? Back towards the home, away from the home, where? I am sure this will all be solved pretty quickly and I really hate how the whole "she was meeting a man for a date" portion was immediately spread around just on the basis of some "source" who couldn't possibly know that. Also, fingerprints on phone? Blood in home going where? All so sloppy.

I thought her phone was used to send the odd post-death texts. So they have her phone now? Or maybe her phone info was backed up somewhere?
stood out to me too but it may be her phone was used to send the creepy text and then left behind, at the crime scene/home. So LE have the phone and are going through it to determine who she was in contact with recently.

Thanks for the photos. They sure didn't make ANY effort to hide the bag, that's for sure. I imagine there must be cameras all over the area, between private ones on homes and on major roads, so hopefully there will be a quick answer.
