Well this is strange - got this google alert - did he change his mind about pleading guilty??!!

And actually it should be "about the NY man" - the Ogden man mentioned is Miller Costello - another case I'm following...

Ogden man accused of killing infant son will go to trial in January 2021

During a Thursday morning hearing, the court set aside dates for the trial of Alex Hidalgo, 38, who is charged with one count of aggravated murder, a first-degree felony; obstructing justice, a second-degree felony; and abuse or desecration of a dead human body, a third-degree felony.

Court documents show that Hidalgo will go to trial starting on Jan. 8, 2021, and his trial will last at least a week. Hidalgo also has a court hearing scheduled for Nov. 12, 2020, in Ogden’s 2nd District Court.

Strange... nothing about his pleading guilty...

It’s confusing because they mention the Miller Costello/Brenda Emile at the very end, IMO.

So do you think this IS Miller Costello & Brenda Emile's cases?? The last hearing I have them was in Nov. 14th, so I believe you could be right. Unfortunately I can' access Utah cases.... But Thanks for you input!

Man guilty of killing Sodus mother, son to be sentenced on federal immigration charges

SODUS, N.Y. (WHEC) — The man who admitted to killing a Sodus mother and her 14-month-old son is scheduled to be sentenced on federal immigration charges.

Alberto Reyes pleaded guilty to having a counterfeit social security card and coming back into the country illegally after getting deported.

Reyes is already serving 20 years in prison for killing his girlfriend, Selena Hidalgo Calderon, and her son, Owen, back in 2018.

Tried googling what is sentencing was for the Federal indictment. Was it 10 years as the article says? I know it was 2/28/20.

I know for State charges he got 20 years. TIA!

*Sentencing Hearing (Federal Fraud Case)-CONTINUED! (@ 11am ET) – NY – Selena Hidalgo-Calderon (18) (May 16, 2018, Sodus; found deceased May 23, 2018) & Owen Hidalgo-Calderon (14 mos.) (May 16, 2018, Sodus; found Oct. 10, 2018) – *Everardo Donoteo-Reyes aka Alberto Ebarado Gutierrez-Reyes (25/now 26) (BF) – arrested & charged (5/24/18) with tampering with physical evidence (Class E felony) & indicted & charged (12/17/18) with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder. Plead not guilty. No bond.
State: Trial was set to begin 9/16/19 plead guilty instead. Sentenced to 20 years in prison with a 5 year post-release supervision. Waived all rights to appeal as part of his plea resolution. Plead down to 2 counts of 1st degree manslaughter. Those sentences will run concurrently.
*Federal Indictment (1/10/19) charged & arraigned (1/15/19 with fraud & misuse of a permanent alien card, fraud & misuse of a Social Security card, & unlawful re-entry by a removed alien.
11/7/19 Update: Donoteo-Reyes is still awaiting sentencing on two immigration-related federal charges. He pleaded guilty to fraud and misuse of visas and unlawful re-entry by a deported alien, federal records show. He is scheduled to be sentenced at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 16 by U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa. Donoteo-Reyes will be deported after serving his sentence.
