Hadn't been on in about 24 hrs. Had about 10 pages to catch up on. I honestly thought something broke in the case. How much longer can we regurgitate the same xxxx? LOL

Also about the dogs not picking up his scent. Maybe he never drove the car to the train. It is what it is. What other reason could there be? I don't think there could be another reason. The dogs did not pick up his scent that means he wasn't there. In my opinion.

I dont believe he was in car at train station either.....we are just thinking for different reasons. I am saying it is a possibility he was hurt after Arrow, then someone saw him, took advantage of situation and took vehicle. They could not or would not report RM because then they would be in trouble for taking car..the. train station was probably that persons destination (to get on train) kids especially take cars for short joy rides. Have always found my car within a couple miles (well twice...which is both times it has happened to me)

Someone mentioned on FB...where did he eat? Did he pack his lunch or buy it? Did he eat with coworkers or alone? If he was last seen at the jobsite at 12:30 by a coworker, maybe they just finished lunch? Did he have a favorite deli?

This was brought up on fb and was told it does not matter when wallet was left home. Nothing makes sense on that page. But real good question

Was the offical page not updated? Am I understanding that police are "officially" investigating even though no criminal intent found?? Curiouser and curiouser...

Maybe they have been flat out told by police to leave topic alone???

Hello, I haven't posted in a while. I just read a few pages of where I left off.
There is one thing that I am curious about and I am curious as to what all of you may think.... Here goes.. The website for missing persons that states Rob was last seen on his block instead of what we have been told about him last being seen at the scrap yard.
If their information is true ( I really believe it is). Maybe Rob left his wallet home in the afternoon and not the morning. This would make more sense to me because it gives him the ID needed for the transaction at the scrap yard and it also leaves proof he was there had he put the receipt in his wallet. After the scrap yard he returns home for some unknown reason for 5 or 10 minutes, hurries out leaving his wallet in the garage with the receipt and that's how IM is aware of the "minimal" transaction that took place. The fact that he was at the scrap yard and had his I'd with him just makes things more credible to me and it clears up any questions. Thoughts??

The scrap yard came up after about 2 weeks of his disappearance....only on the suggestion of his co-workers to check there. If the receipt was in the wallet, IM would have known immediately what date and time he was there as soon as she checked the wallet, which I assume was immediately when she feared he was missing.

In what way could he have been taken advantage of? His car was not taken, he evidently did not have cash or cards on him...

Just for discussion Clu... (love your cats!)

Every now and I hear of someone being jumped by thugs around here and forced to go to an ATM and withdraw money. It actually happened to fellow male employee where my wife worked.. on his lunch hour, coming out of a supermarket, in an okay area, but he wasn't paying much attention, and he was grabbed by two thugs, taken to Newark and forced to withdraw from an ATM with a broken camera!

What if this fellow didn't have a wallet on him, or no ATM card, or what if he felt he could overpower the thugs... could get killed..

if he met this sort of random criminal act, how likely would it be that the "thugs" would hide the body? or leave a vehicle seemingly untouched?

Yes and as I recalled the person who asked SOME of these questions (although nothing was asked about favorite deli....) I believe they are truly sick of the constant questions and how there has been no regard to how that is not the forum for Sleuthing... this is..that was suppose to be one place IM could go without being bombarded with speculation...we all can say how we would react if this happened to us, but the reality is, we dont. Know until or if it does! Some people asking questions were downright rude and pushy, not respecting the fact she may not even be able to answer those questions. (By LE) this is what I was talking about earlier... remember this has been going on for two months, after two months of people hounding you for answers you cannot give...would you not withdraw. From said people even when they finally asked new questions? I know I would... some people just want answers for their own sick curiousity...she doesnt know who is who when feeling constantly under attack.

Hi everyone, i have been following this story from day one and also went on some searched. The one thing I don't understand is why they have us search the same areas over and over. When asked is we can search scrap or surrounding building we are told to leave it to LE. very mixed feelings :fence:

I've also wondered why searches are being repeateded in areas, with so many other possible areas being ignored.

I think you also brought up the AL lead being ignored. that baffles me as well.

Agreed as well, this is why I don't really buy the victim of a crime angle. If he was killed they would most likely have left his body right where the act took place.

My belief is that he walked out on his family ... some here will disagree and that's ok. If we all thought alike we would never get anywhere.

Big dense area...not possible to get everywhere at one time, Limited people searching, ...what other areas are u suggesting? Arrow? LE has. Obviously stated they are either handling that area or to leave it alone...so they search where they can in meantime.

So sorry to hear about your dad! Sadly this seems to be the "norm" rather than the "exception". Even healthy men that jog on a regular basis, drop all the time out of the clear blue sky...so it seems. Yes, it is possible that there is some big conspiracy, by Arrow, LE, or IM ... however, the LE has stated at this point there is no evidence of criminal activity....that must mean, at least at this point in time all the things that people find "odd" have been looked at in part and as a whole by LE and unless other evidence manifests, it is highly unlikely. As for suggestion that IM has something to hide or had something to do with it...IMHO , would she not then try to deflect suspicion that there was criminal activity by suuggesting he ran off with another woman etc etc? Rather than insist that RM is incapable of returning home on his own? Thus suggesting something has either criminally happened to him or he has been hurt which would actually increase efforts to find him?? As for Arrow, if they were guilty of foul play, does anyone honestly think they would draw attention to themselves by admitting. They were the last to see RM after weeks of LE not knowing this info? Dont you think it was more likely they did even realize they were connected to RM's last day and when they did, they came forth with the info? IMHO there are no more facts to this case to be seen at this time, and sometimes overanalyzing every detail makes one overlook the more obvious. No two people react to trauma the same way. So unless we have a mind reading expert, even if we have been through similar circumstances, we cannot possibly know what IM or the family is thinking. May
be, just. Maybe, we have become cynical because of society and the times we live in and there just isnt any more info to give, and the whole M family is scared, worried, tired and drained and just dont have any more pertinant information to give?? Just a thought... and no, I am not trying to offend anyone, and no, I dont have any ties to the M family...just an outsider like everyone else. Although I have been in a fairly similar circumstance, and I know it would have killed me inside to think on top of everything else, people were more concerned with pointing fingers, than finding a loved one.... questions are good, I would never say otherwise as I have a very inquisitive mind myself. However, IMHO there is a time to say enough...hopefully before I have beat that poor dead horse...

Lately whenever a child goes missing my first thought is mom and dad did it...years ago it was stranger danger. As a society we have become cynical. I truly think IM is drained, she still has to try to live a semi normal life for her children. She may know more than she's telling us but I'm sure LE has told her what's sharable and what's not. I know there's a lot in my life I wouldn't share with strangers but I believe she doesn't know where RM is.I believe she wants him home and i believe she loves him. Maybe they were having problems maybe not but My gut tells me she wants him home....NOW

there was a specific question about a man matching RMs description, using language uncommon in the sighting area, but common language for LINY. this sighting took place in a pizza place and was wearing a hat. IM has been asked about the hat and not answered.

how are people to help when even possible sightings are ignored?

Exactly! I feel like noone is understanding that IM. Is even more frustrated than anyone here. She may not be able to talk about things that could jepordize investigation! We can "guess" and make assumptions but it really needs to stay here and not on fb where she has to go over. And. Over it..

I think people are well meaning but need to realize that she just isn't going to respond to every person or every question. It doesn't mean she ignored them.

I believe the 'Unshaven' thing has to do with the possibility RM could be disoriented, wandering the streets or in a shelter and not having access to a razor, etc. for several days (now months). Not that he was growing a beard. IMO, if he was actually growing a beard, it would have been stated very clearly as such.

Does IM think it was possible he was disoriented? Was he not acting like himself before he disappeared?

I think one of the biggest problems with a search in the Arrow Scrap area is that it is private property. You need permission from the owners.
