Agreed as well, this is why I don't really buy the victim of a crime angle. If he was killed they would most likely have left his body right where the act took place.

My belief is that he walked out on his family ... some here will disagree and that's ok. If we all thought alike we would never get anywhere.

I agree that a stranger would leave the body, but someone who knew him may not. It could have been calculating and planned crime. Yet, I agree that RM could have took off too. So many possibilities . .

Did the person who found a Schwinn bike return anyone's calls? Any news??

Hey all.. This has me so baffled. We have no leads and no body. Based on IM being vocal I'm inclined to believe that she had no involvement or idea of where he could be. Could be wrong though. I'm so upset about this all and like you all, want him found. I know we all are open to theories so in curious what they all are, in detail. I'm really starting to think suicide or homocide but by someone close enough to hide it. I could be way odd but I'm still not anywhere close to him taking off.

I've always felt the searches, while important, we're unsafe for the participants. There was mention of open manhole covers, very dense brush, and homeless people in tent city set-ups, etc. at this weekends search. The HBO guy mentioned even getting lost. I just wanted to say I hope nobody gets hurt.

Also, regarding FB, I understand IM and children need to be respected, but the tone towards people who just want to help has really taken a very harsh turn. There is a lot of talk that the children read that page. I think the admins and "accepted" members need to set a better example for the children too. It goes both ways. I just saw a cousin of IM post and use some very harsh language regarding a poster, 4 letter words included. And she was thanked for her comments. I never see that language on this page. New WS posters, share this with your friends there. As much as this WS page is despised by those on FB, there is a much kinder vibe here. Maybe because, for the most part, we have rules and abide by them.

MOO She's angry. She's family and it's personal for her.

I think one of the biggest problems with a search in the Arrow Scrap area is that it is private property. You need permission from the owners.

IMO I was certain RM left on his own in the very beginning. Then we hear he was seen on his neighbors surveillance camera driving by, most likely, coming home for ten minutes, then seen leaving. That knowledge changed my thinking. :banghead: Did he meet with foul play when he got home? Someone armed could have been waiting for him. They force RM into their car and another drives his car away and parks it at train station. Is there another car seen on surveillance camera?? IMO that is why LE and IM do not have to search Arrow Scrap area.

I feel so sorry IM and her children. I feel he is no longer here with us but I could change my mind tomorrow.

dont you think a family memeber of the missing has a right to blow off steam whenever and wherever she feels attacked? You do not know what triggered it..all I can say is it was not someone from ws. We should not judge something we know nothing about...

I hope the kids aren't reading over here too! It isn't healthy, because we know very little and are just theorizing by batting around questions and possibilities. We have very little facts. As far as FB, it seems people jump on others with snarky comments, then it gets ugly with all the others taking sides with their comments. I didn't see the worse exchanges. I missed them, but I do recognize it when it happens. With 2000 members that is bound to happen. You can only offer supportive posts in that situation, IMO.

Why would LE tell IM that something isn't to be shared with the public, if they do not believe a crime has been committed? That makes no sense.

I believe you are referring to an either/or situation.

How did RM know that nobody was home when he stopped by for a few minutes? Was it his intention to not be seen, or just coincidence that he got in and got out in this timeframe before kids or anyone got home. MOO this is the time period when maybe IM is out picking up kids from school.

Not sure what you mean.
I was referring to posters saying maybe she has been told not to share certain things, but I can't see why LE would do that, if they are not treating this as a crime.

If so, I would assume he would know what time she has to pick up kids...

Well I don't know if LE is investigating this case as a crime, only that they had said they did not believe a crime had been committed, if I recall correctly.

I might be wrong, but I thought they only do active investigations if they felt there was criminal intent or foul play when someone is over 18.

All I know is I hope they find SOMETHING soon. I dont think this family can take much more of the unknown. Isnt his mother fairly up there in age? I would hate for this tragedy to hit the family twice

there is a missing persons page (someone here has the link), that page has him last seen on his block. this information is apparently provided by family members. this is one of the "facts" that are constantly being brought up as inconsistant. FB says one thing, while other sites (with information provided by IM) say another.

(I feel like whenever I comment people get the idea that I believe IM is to blame or knows where RM is, this is not the case. I don't believe IM is involved in this, I do however believe RM left on his own.)
