here is my thought. IF RM did look nervous and worried in the video and LE saw that. Why would they say no foul play? Can they think he looks worried and nervous due to the fact he is leaving and doesn't want to get caught? I can't quote but pretty sure when foreman from arrow was interviewed he said Mr. Mayer was in good manner. That is a big chnge from very nervous and worried!

IMO, I think if she saw that same video when he was not missing, she would not think he was worried and nervous. She could be reading into his facial expressions, because he is missing. She could be looking for clues, as we are looking for clues. I could be wrong, but it is just a thought. His expression could be that he was having a hard time reading the screen or the instructions on the ATM, so he was frowning and straining his eyes. Unless he was wearing contacts or glasses, most people need reading glasses at his age.

He did say he conducted himself that way. I have a crazy life with two disabled adult kids. There are days when I feel very worried and anxious but my bank teller or the kid at McDonalds would never know that. I would say that almost everybody can compartmentalize to some extent.

Unless he was being followed on the way to Arrow, I can't see why anything would show on his face while there.

But didn't IM state after watching the video his face haunts her due to it looking worried and nervous. Wouldn't the foreman pick up the same vibe or is that something a wife sees because she know her husband. I know I can tell just by looking at my husband what kind of mood he is in. Just seems like to different scenerios are painted here.

Also if the LE saw the video and saw that he had a worried and nervous look, wouldn't they have searched the grounds of arrow? I know doing the searches, a couple of people asked if we can search there and we were told no. Only LE had the right to do it. I know they supposebly went there but no scenting dogs were there.

Oh when my cawfee kicks in the thoughts y'all!!!!!------Isn't it illegal for adult to not carry identification in NY??? Regardless of driving a car, operating a motor vehicle---am increasingly thinking a bike ride was not a possible scenario.
Not picking on you McSpy-----and good question--when was the bike deemed missing????

The bike was reported missing after the car was found. I think it is odd he didn't have his license, since he supposedly drove to the train station. Did he forget his license twice that day?

Reason why I brought the bike up: Was it reported missing to fit a scenario or is it actually missing?

Since the local 3 union knows he is missing, would they connect that he is missing if he is working out of state? If it is that easy for him to hide and work under his license, then IM should HIRE a PI. He should be EASY to find if he is working a legit job. Between his professional license, union membership status, and social security number, he should be very easy to find. A PI would be able to find him easily.

Which is curious as to why IM or even his family hasn't contacted one.
Well-ok--that we know of----but I'd think we would know b/c that "other place" was rather vocal (lol) -- from what I understand.

And---a little off base--but y'all are used to that------maybe things will come out when he goes to file a tax return----needs his Withholding etc-----a thought

I know on the "other place" IM was given name of a couple of PI and she said she was contacting them. What happened after that I have no idea. It is rather quiet there

I agree. I was shocked when I found out that one of my co-workers was in rehab. I didn't have a clue she had issues with drugs (pain killers). She ended up never coming back to the job. I eventually found out she started a Yoga studio in coastal Maine, which was a big switch in occupation. I think she may have divorced her husband too. She looked healthy to me prior to rehab. The only clue of an issue, is that she seemed slightly edgy at times, but in my mind that could have been caused by stress or annoyance with the job. I know people who act like that without being addicted to drugs . . .

Slightly edgy at times - maybe that was perceived as nervous energy???

Real quick- I was prescribed Oxy for a bad back. Didn't know I became dependent until I tried to stop taking them.
I started waking during the night, feeling sick because I needed more. You would never know this by looking at me. I'm very close to my family and no one knew I was in trouble.

I did some travel nursing and practiced in Norwalk and Stamford, CT. Didn't have to take a test, just provide application, fee, and current TX license. The test for nursing is a national test.

Phili------if you had a specialty in nursing like peds intensive care, would a second state test be required????

i hope everything is good with you now. It is very hard to detect no matter how close you are with someone. It doesn't make someone a bad person just someone that is in need of help.

Thank you and yes I am better now. Suboxone was a great help to me and I'll never take that pain pill again.

If you take too much Oxy it can cause respitory distress. I would think that having sleep apnea would put someone at greater risk. I'm not a doctor or nurse but it just would make sense mixing the two could result in a tragedy.

A guy that's an electrician is likely good with his hands. He could easily be picking up electrical or general handyman jobs off the books where ever he wants.

In most surveillance videos I've seen, they are grainy and distorted. Some you can't really get a good make on the person let alone what kind of mood they are in. It's difficult for me to weigh in until I see the actual video which hopefully will be released.

I agree. If my husband is missing and there are 10 facts and I release one every month, it's not super effective in getting him home.

I was wondering if the changes were perhaps embellishments to get new attention (how he was on the previously non-existant video for example). The David Lohr thing has been pending for awhile, maybe when it happened, it suddenly occurred to her that some things could be more interesting?

There are some people in this world who have such confidence in themselves that they think they can manage all the tales they tell. It doesn't make them bad people, just people who are difficult to understand and trust.

Personally, I don't understand nor trust people that think they can manage all the tales they tell. That is a troubled soul, to me. Honesty and being true to yourself is what counts. I think it is a judgment call when you said it doesn't make them bad people. I personally would not want to be around a lier and a person I could not trust. That to me, IS a bad trait. That is a troubled person and if they can lie to your face repeatedly and don't change their behavior, why put up with that?? They need Help! And it's sad to me.
MAYBE THAT'S WHY RM LEFT???
IMOO.

I hope she does hire a PI, because it is recommended for missing adult cases. LE may be still investigating, but they don't work as hard at it if there isn't suspicion of foul play. Time is a wasting . .

people in adultery lose weight like that....working on their appearance for their new love.....my ex did

I think he purchased a new Identity that day. He went home, left the old wallet and his phone which im sure he replaced with another, which is why he didn't use the old one that day after talking to Ida.
And off he went! Never to look back!

JMO

Oh and one more thing.....If I was at that train station and saw that man get out of that car id remember!
LOL

She was a lawyer for heaves sake. they retain private investigators all the time... It would not be hard for her to find one JMO

And if you watch breaking bad Lawyers also know who to contact to get new identies! lOL

My fav TV show that and dexter!
Ray Donovan is awesome also!

Anything is possible, but there is no evidence that happened. I hope he just took off. I sure wish I knew what he said in his texts to the mystery person.

How would there be evidence?
Nothing has been investigated! lol

It depends on what kind of law one practices, IMO. Divorce lawyers probably use them all the time. I think she should get on the horn and hire one-— sooner is better than later.

I do not think this man is coming home.

We don't know everything in this investigation, IMO. You could be right—he took off and has a new identity. I seriously can't be so sure, because evidence is scant, odd, and we don't know much about him.
