Whew! Catching up here. :read: Respectfully snipping out some bits so I can put in my :twocents: without taking up a whole page, in theory.
... IIRC, the phone pinged in Melville at 1:45 then at Arrow at 2:15. To springboard off of what someone else pointed out, it doesn't take 30 minutes to get from Melville to Arrow, it's a 15 minute drive...
I recall you are correct on the 1:45 ping because we all know I'm stuck on that + well a couple other
bitty details.

IIRC 1:45 was the LAST ping + the phone "went dead" at 2:45. 2:15 he was captured on cam inside Arrow. No ping at 2:15 as I remember it. Just from memory here, please dear Lord don't ask me to dig for a link, I might get into a 3 hour dither trying to find the right one again! :truce:
I took this train to work for years. It was packed with people, no seats available and when the train stopped at Deer Park after 7pm alot of people got off and I was finally able to get a seat. So imo it had to be later, imo after 830pm for RM or whoever, to get that spot.
What if another vehicle was parked in that spot earlier? Red GTO pulls in, another vehicle pulls out to open the spot? Not saying I think this is what happened, just spitballing an idea of how it might have happened.
I agree, windstorm. Everyone was so busy doing detective work on others that something in RM's past may have slipped through the cracks. Maybe there is a connection or a clue in his past. IMO
I said way back, oh several threads ago probably - maybe the car was left in that spot because someone who knew him years ago when he did in fact park there regularly, was unaware he no longer did so. Meaning, they had been out of touch for a few years with RM, or were "away" + just returned. JMO
Hmmm, it is where the train station is but why not use THAT address. Where did this one come from? Why?

... a quote from the FAQ released 8-28:
"Robs wallet was found in the garage around 4pm on June 14th, after Ida realized he was late in coming home. At that time, $300.00 was also found in a drawer in the garage." ...
I understand being worried if he was usually home by 3pm, expected by 3pm that day. In IM's shoes, I'd probably tear the house apart if I couldn't reach him by phone. She quickly looked in the garage. What for, as in what was she looking for there? What did he or they keep in the garage that she was looking for? Something that should be there + she wanted to make sure it still was? I mean, I don't think she went in there looking for his wallet, but she found it in the process. JMO
