I am so very confused: SIX DAYS now and those 2 men need to be sleeping and eating and staying warm. I cannot imagine that they're out in the woods! WHERE THE HECK CAN THOSE 2 MEN BE???
-
Also, as to tailor shop/prison lady/mom: So, when I read about her former seamstress factory coworkers saying that she used to like to have affair s@x on the railroad tracks just outside the factory walls, IMO, if that's true, seems like a personality type who'd get thrills helping 2 hunky guys escape from prison ! Brilliant thinking (pat on back to self) - I think I better email K. Ablow about this LOL.
-
I read that Matt has 'metal teeth' and so I looked for all pics' of him I could find, and what I found was video of him from his murder trial for torturing & killing that 73 y old man - he's sitting and apparently talking for a few secs' with his lawyer - he's aware the camera is on his face and he's smiling about something - he tries to keep his lips sealed, but there's just a blip of a second where you can see his teeth and they are not attractive teeth FYI - kinda shockingly bad teeth - looked like bad dog teeth (spikey points of a few teeth) plus metal.
-
I absolutely cannot wrap my mind around this prison breakout, and now SIX DAYS of 2 missing men. Who gave them the tools? Cut through a double brick wall? How did the tools get there in the 1st place - who put the tools there? Who did the cutting? They cut through a steam pipe and shimmied through that - - - those things are super duper boiling hot - how can that be ???????

Where are those 2 men now? Where are they sleeping? Who's taking care of them? Giving them food, warmth, pillows? Surely they're indoors somewhere ?? Are they watching tv? IS ANYONE HELPING THEM and who in their right mind would help those 2 guys unless they were prison workers having harm threatened to their kids or somethin' ? Eric Frein had obviously left all sorts of his junk out in the woods in various places prior to him successfully running around loose in the woods for weeks. The cabin burglar guy had a hideout and steady food-all his needs met from his ongoing stealing.

Does anyone thing these 2 men could possibly be out all alone - - ??? I keep coming back to the thought that those 2 would find some old person or couple and take over their home, take all their cash, take their cash. But, take the people's car??? There's roadblocks everywhere and if they try to pull what Pee Wee Herman did that one time, I don't think it would work:

I'm not sure they'd really NEED pillows or warmth over night. It's not very cold out. Food and water, yes......

Live interview with Lenny DePaul (former chief of the NY Headquarters of the U.S Marshals (mentioned upthread):

LDP: He can sell you your own shoes, but so can we... These guys are animals, both of them. The homicides that were committed were unbelievable. We'll react accordingly and it's all up to them. Hopefully they give up peacefully and without incident.

Chris Cuomo:: you keep teaching us about the concept of time here. So now you're through 5 days, of these guys being out there. Is time starting to work against them? In terms of forcing them to have to do something?

.LDP: if, in fact, again, if they're there. I mean, we cast a pretty big net. The US Marshals have sent out leads to 3 to 4 different states, which I can't share unfortunately. But questions are being asked as leads come in. Could be as simple as surveillance, or possible Q&A with a relative or known associate of one of them. So, you know, we're not just staying local, and the viewers need to know that. If they are in Miami, or San Francisco and they happen to see somebody that looks like them,,done think they're cornered somewheres in New York. So they have to keep their eyes and be diligent.

Breaking (on CNN):
CNN crew moved to Route 374?(7 miles east of Dannemora in West Plattsburgh)
7 mile stretch of Route 374 remains closed (this echoes what other local MSM outlets have tweeted throughout the early morning hours

Only residents allowed in and out due to a "suspicious sighting" last night
Local school districts are closed
Residents are essentially sheltering in place (my terminology: staying indoors with doors locked, exterior lights on, awaiting instruction from authorities).

Re: the post it note.
I have read a few places that the picture on the post-it is from Family Guy.
Can we post youtube here? Not sure, and I am cautious to abide by TOS, so go to youtube and search Peter Griffin Sketch Artist and the first video you will see... at 43 seconds in is the exact picture on that post it note.
Note: Family Guy can be offensive... so search for clip at your own risk. IMO
There are a lot of videos on YouTube pertaining to Peter Griffin and jail breaks.

The image in the inmates notes looks an awful lot like Family Guy #Dannemora http://t.co/mXMrOFA3nD

Shoutout to my fellow WSer who called it - it looks like it was Family Guy!

The "Family Guy" reference was posted on numerous websites right after the photos of the Post-it note were released to the media.

I wonder what the significance is (if at all) to this particular Family Guy episode with that picture? I don't watch Family Guy, has anyone seen that episode?
Family Guy has a few episodes of jail breaks. They are available on YouTube. One episode is from season 7, episode 15 titled "Three Kings".

I do not watch the show either but apparently, the episode with the "happy face" is the episode where the character named Chris gets robbed and he attempts to describe the robber.

Escaped killer's son shares memories of his notorious father

More on the son at the link.

The only son of convicted murderer and prison escapee Richard W. Matt finds it hard to believe authorities failed to take greater precautions in making sure his father remained behind bars.

“You know he has escaped before. He has a genius IQ. I can’t believe they let this happen,” said 23-year-old Nicholas Harris, who recalled his father bragging to him and his mother about how he had attempted to escape from a Mexican prison and ended up being shot.

“He said he made it up to the roof of the prison and got shot in the shoulder. He pulled down his shirt and showed us the bullet wound. This guy has bullet holes on his body. He’s been shot like nine times. It’s like they can’t kill him. He showed me the scars on his forearms from another time he escaped,” Harris said Monday during an interview outside his family’s Southtowns residence, where he cares for his disabled mother.

More like the tale that's being told, is "extraordinary", imo. As was reported, no one has ever escaped from this prison, in close to 200 years (however, 13 inmates did go 'missing').

There is only one way in, same way out. For everyone, inmates, their visitors, their lawyers, the security, administration and civilians. IF there was an escape (well, I suppose there is a 1% chance, not likely, though), imo, it happened when the civilians left for the day, with the two murderers leaving with them, wearing civilian clothes.

I think these two murderers also went 'missing'. jmo, of course.
There is more than one way out.

On CNN, Michael Alig who I believe served 3 of his 17 years in CC Facility--on the noise level in the prison:

It's like New Year's every night.

Ha!

Inside scoop, but no link because it has not been reported: The prisoners are surrounded. One possibly has an injured leg. This came from a friend who lives up north of me and has a family member in one of the police units that have just been activated to go to the area. I believe it is happening in Cadyville.

http://www.weather.com/weather/today/l/USNY0362:1:US

It was in the 50s overnight last night and will be tonight, but there's also been torrential, flash flood inducing downpours in the area off and on the past few days.

Yesterday's low was 50.3 degrees overnight between 6/9 - 6/10. The lowest overnight temp was 34 degrees during the week of June 2 - 9. On the night of June 6 into 7 the low temp was 40.7. Whatever info you might want about historical weather in their area is here:

FWIW. 30s-40s and wet might be a problem IMO. I sort of hope so anyway.

Again, FWIW, TWCNews.com is not reporting anything new this morning regarding the roadblock or anything else. Doesn't necessarily mean anything though, their reporters have to sleep sometime.

http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news...scaped-Prisoners-From-New-York-306915461.html

"Updated 3 minutes ago

Philadelphia police are questioning a cab driver who believes he may have picked up the two convicted killers who escaped from a prison in New York earlier this week.

The driver told police he picked up two men who matched the descriptions of 48-year-old Richard Matt and 34-year-old David Sweat at Broad and Vine streets around 4:15 a.m. Thursday.

The taxi dropped the men off at 30th Street Station in downtown Philadelphia.

The cabbie worked two more fares and then called 911, police said. The driver told police the men he dropped off at 30th Street Station looked like Sweat and Matt.

The driver was being questioned by investigators and police stressed that this investigation is very preliminary."

link continues to say they're looking at surveillance video now.

 • #654
Does that mean they had cash for the cab?

http://7online.com/news/manhunt-intensifies-for-2-escaped-killers/776751/

"The 1,500-student Saranac Central School District called off classes Thursday because of all the police activity in the area just four miles east of the prison. District Superintendent Jonathan Parks says state police requested he close the schools."

IIRC this is the first time any schools have been closed since they escaped. This sounds like a solid lead they're working on right now IMO.

Does that mean they had cash for the cab?

IMO it means the cabbie wants his 15 seconds of fame and nothing more. JMO they're not in PA.

tried to add this quote to my most recent post with article link but this website isnt' letting me edit posts lately, it just shows a grey box and a "reason for editing" field but nothing else.

"But authorities expanded the search after investigators learned that the inmates had talked before last weekend's breakout about going to neighboring Vermont."

I hadn't read before exactly what made them think they would go to VT. So that's why.

 • #658
Aaakkkk, so basically they still have no idea?!!!

 • #659
Just thinking out loud, if they were tryign to just disappear forever IMO they would go for canada or escpecially to mexico, where LE has stated many times that Matt has connections.

It doesn't make sense for them to head down to Philly then to NYC from there. You can't get out of NYC on a plane without being caught I wouldn't think, not those guys, not now. Where would they even be trying to get to, if they're heading southeast?? Not mexico, not canada...

JMO I really don't think that was them. If it was I would want to say "oh they went to NYC to get fake documents to help them get across the border" but I just don't think that's the case IMO.

Just thinking that out loud. I dont think these two would call a cab that is kind of ridiculous IMO to escape and avoid detection for 6 days and get all the way to Philly somehow and then call a freakin cab. Come on. JMO

Thank you.

This sounds credible. LE could suspect a leg injury a couple of different ways. If a witness noticed them, the witness may have seen 1 of them limping as they ran off.

I could see where 1 of them could get leg injury if they were running through woods and 1 of them took a tumble.

I think this Cadyville report may be credible around there.
I have wondered if they have not made it too far without the ride.
