Mainly marking my spot. :(

This ____ (not a lady) just keeps looking "sweeter" by the moment. Smh.
The recapture of these despicable escapees is costing everyone who works and pays taxes ; and could well go into the millions.

Throw her in prison and toss the key into the nearest lake ! And anyone else who assisted these felons. Disgusting.

Did this Joyce ever look at the photos of the man after he was shot TWENTY TWO times ??? Or what about the other one -- did she see the pics of the dismembered victim ?
Sometimes it can change the outsiders' perception of a criminal to see photographs of what they've done.
Maybe it wouldn't have changed Joyce's mind ; who knows ? In my opinion , she is evil in my mind--- for assisting prisoners to escape who may very well murder another innocent.

Those poor people who are living in that area ! Please stay safe, everyone. And a big "THANK YOU" to le for putting your lives at risk to capture Matt and Sweat.

:moo:

i'm sorry i don't have a link handy so imo!!! but i had read that it's costing right over 1m a day for the searches..........we are into day nine...........thanks tillie

not to mention the heartache of the searcher's families, the residents, local employers, schools, school children, etc, etc, etc,

Murdering hubby might have been her idea. :notgood:

IF so, wouldn't she have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder?

  • #844
I personally don't feel she 'changed her mind'. I think she got to the manhole cover at the appointed time, and saw the cover open and they were gone. Then I think she panicked...JMO

i don't think we've seen the end to tillie's charges.....at least i hope not........

She must be very unhappy with her (previous) life. Divorce IS an option. Wonder if she is in the throes of menopause, or just an idiot as we suspect.....She was up for a plan to kill Lyle, devastate her son, give up her job.....all for the infatuation with a vicious criminal ? JMO

Several explanations on how that delivery system is used. It is NOT for contraband. It is for the poor guys stuck in the guard towers

In this day and age, that is bizarre!!

Nope. If anyone is hurt or killed, including the escapees themselves, her charges will be upped. JMO

I am watching the search on CNN - these people look tired. I hope they think about sending in out of state relief?

She should have been nipped in the bud months ago, fired Period:

"She made phone calls on their behalf to family members between Oct. 13 to May 1," Wylie said, but those calls were just of a friendly manner.

The escape was not the subject of discussion, he said.

The civilian employees allowed to make friendly calls to inmates' families? Doubt it. Not as if she is a teacher calling family members to report on status of her pupils, or providing an update on their progress.

Will the movie be entitled Escape From Clinton:confused:

OMG! So Lyle's alleged involvement in the plan was to be murdered? He must have drawn the short straw.

Grrrrr I can't believe I wasted a second of my time feeling an ounce of pity for this "lady". I honestly can't believe she admitted to that.
I am going to make a guess that Lyle wasn't in on this plan.

"DANNEMORA -- Joyce Mitchell allegedly told investigators she had agreed to a plan with two convicted murderers that she would pick them up after they broke out of prison, they would kill her husband and flee to Vermont, a law enforcement source told the Times Unionon Saturday."

Yow.

If that is true, then her husband had to be in on this. He was meeting them with her. Tillie is very lucky she had a change of heart, no doubt in my mind she was just a tool in all of this and they would have to get rid of her at some point as she would be a liability.

People like Tillie are every but as dangerous as the people she helped. She deserves the same sentence as Sweat and Matt. She doesn't need or deserve to walk among us imo.

You think the husband was in on the plan that included him being murdered? Somehow I doubt it.

Tillie may have been the one for whom the "Have a Nice Day" note was left.

I can't locate where Greta describes the details about the actual "legitimate" method of delivery.

I see explanations from posters to Van Susteren's FB, but I want link to what she &/or her team found out.

Anyone finds it, pls post it

Added: O, that video link is the explanation. No details.

Well, like Greta says, she reported, we'll decide.

I'm not buying it as all legitimate. Maybe it is lunch, ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY, but who knows what other CO's are ordering in. I know there are many many good upstanding CO's, BUT, there are also a few not so upstanding as we have seen in this case. I don't buy that there is not another way for them to get lunch. NOPE, not for one second. ALL JMO.

Has she actually SAID that she knew exactly where they were to emerge from the manhole? There was talk about practicing, but I'm wondering if she really knew where they would emerge. I still think that it was THEM who ditched her. JMO

Not hardly, I think he knew something and they did not want him to talk.
