On Thursday, a reporter asked Cuomo if he was "embarrassed or chagrined" by the prison escape or if "heads (will) roll" at the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, which falls under the executive branch.

"There's nothing to be embarrassed about," Cuomo said. "It's the first escape (from the maximum-security portion) since 1865. That's not a bad record, and we don't know exactly what happened here to know that we need systemic change."

That is my guess right now.

I think they found a small cabin or small house and are holed up in it.

Most cabins usually have at least a little long storage food left in them. Things like canned food or some type of food staples that dont spoil. At a minimum, it could have water supply for drinking water.

I am also afraid if they found one with people in it, they maybe holding them hostage.

I dont think LE would be breaking down all the doors of all the cabins in the area. So all the escapees have to do is make sure nobody moves or makes a noise if LE came to the door.

I think LE approach is basically wait until they get a report of a sighting because LE knows they will have to make a move at some point. The flaw in that plan is if the 2 escapees managed to find a nicely stocked cabin, they could stay in something like that for a very very very long time.

I am afraid it may be awhile at this point if the escapees managed to find a nicely stocked cabin.

If they came upon our camp they would find enough food to survive for several months, plus water, electricity, clothes, hygiene essentials, etc. They would even have a nice warm bed to sleep in and a tv to watch the search happening. Thankfully our camp is not in the Adirondacks, lol.

Just drove Hardscrabble all the way to Saranac. Saw police cars lined by the river but nothing more than in Cadyville.

Police are stationed at the bridges along the Saranac River. Not seeing a huge presence in one particular area though

LOL, this is a huge embarrassment to him. What will his wrath wreak? We'll see. The warden isn't even allowed to speak or show his face, IMO. I bet Cuomo's on a rampage. JMO, and I don't dislike him at all. I just think he's pi$$ed off big time that this happened on his watch.

I feel so sorry for those troopers on the ground & their families! They are in danger every day.

Do you think people leave guns in unoccupied summer homes? It would be really stupid. Hopefully they don't have weapons, but I don't put anything past Tillie

  • #790
Greta's team looked into it, and discovered that it was a "legitimate" but unusual delivery.

See Post June 12, 2015 @ 5:32pm

[urlttps://www.facebook.com/gretawire[/url]

Several explanations on how that delivery system is used. It is NOT for contraband. It is for the poor guys stuck in the guard towers

  • #791
I can't locate where Greta describes the details about the actual "legitimate" method of delivery.

I see explanations from posters to Van Susteren's FB, but I want link to what she &/or her team found out.

Anyone finds it, pls post it

Added: O, that video link is the explanation. No details.

Well, like Greta says, she reported, we'll decide.

We do not, but I have found guns left in several vacant homes over the years, especially hunting type camps as opposed to lake cottages.

*photo .. and this: picking up the boot straps @AP photo inside the search #PrisonBreakNY #tells #the #story

I have to say that I think this person is wrong about what she thinks she sees here with the duct tape on the boot, I do not for one minute think that is from wear, it is probably a weapon,(knife)? If his boot was split I don't think he would be bothered. jmo idk

I think that the sole separated and he taped it to get by for the shift.

According to criminal complaints, what some of the items #JoyceMitchell gave the fugitives look like #PrisonBreakNY

:hilarious: are these reporters desperate for a story or what?

If sighting today was accurate (and if previous sightings in the Ryan/Cringle Road/Bucks Corner Road earlier were accurate), sounds like they've crossed the Saranac river and are very close to Clinton State Forest.

I've been wondering what these guys have been doing for food. Maybe they had some with them in that guitar case, or were able to scavenge some on the way out of town. But they've been on the run now for over a week. I wonder if either of them has wilderness survival skills?
